Take it easy at this tranquil getaway with unobstructed, panoramic views of crystal clear, Skaneateles Lake. The space Truly waterfront, year round property located on a private lane on a level yard, this cozy cottage is 10 feet from the shore with a boathouse deck overlooking the water. It is perfectly located only 4.9 miles from the Village of Skaneateles for easy trips into town. The cottage has its own 45 feet of private lake frontage featuring an oversized permanent dock and an additional seasonal wooden dock excellent for swimming, fishing, kayaking and relaxing lakeside. After a full day of water activities, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the boathouse deck. With the addition of a brand new deck next to the boathouse rooftop patio, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax in the sun or in the shade. All outdoor furniture is top of the line and brand new including a Weber grill, Solo Stove bonfire pit, Outer couch and chairs, and Polywood Adirondack chairs and dining table. At dusk, enjoy a bonfire on the dock under the stars while listening to the waves crash right in front of you. Our waterfront provides the ultimate lake life experience. Inside, the cottage has been completely remodeled while still preserving its vintage charm. The cottage features a brand new, fully stocked kitchen featuring semi custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel Bosch appliances, under cabinet lighting, and a small mudroom nook. The kitchen opens up to an open floor plan with the living room and dining room. A new sliding glass door and oversized windows were installed to maximize the stunning, lakefront views. When you open the sliding door, you can hear the waves crashing against the shore. It feels like you're right on the water even when you're inside the cottage. Our proximity to the lake is certainly unique. Off of the dining room is a completely remodeled bathroom with a luxurious tiled, walk in shower and stackable laundry. The cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests. The main bedroom is off the kitchen. It has been renovated with shiplap walls and a new ceiling fan. Guests will enjoy sleeping on the new queen sized, organic mattress from Avocado. This main bedroom is cute and cozy. There's even a small sliver of a lake view from the bedroom window, which makes for a great way to start the day. The second bedroom is in the sleeping loft, which is accessible by ladder. The loft features a low ceiling, 2 twin beds and a lounge area with a low profile couch and TV making it a great place for kids. All mattresses and bedding are brand new. The cottage is our happy place. We can't wait to share it with you. It is the ideal place for a couple's getaway or a small family. Please note, if you intend to invite daytime visitors, the maximum number of people allowed onsite is 8. Guest access Guests have full access to our lakefront property. This includes the use of the house, docks, decks, boathouse, and mooring. During the off season from November-April, guests will not have access to the seasonal dock or to the boathouse couch and chairs. Please do not pull them out of storage. Other things to note Life jackets, pool noodles, 2 adult kayaks and 2 child kayaks are available for your use and enjoyment.
