Designed and built from the ground up 6 years ago this home is full of hand crafted details and amazing features. We have art and furniture from local artists and craftsman (some of which is available for purchase) as well as a number of hand painted murals outside and inside. In the spring, summer, and fall months the property boasts an attractive flower and vegetable garden. Some of the flowers are cut for a local cut flower business and the vegetable garden is available for guests to pick from. Guests are also offered a cut flower bouquet for their stay if they desire. Enjoy the sprawling yard, flower garden, one of a kind hand built play set, or fire pit while outside. Our living room features a 10' sliding door that opens to a covered porch that spans the entire front of the house complete with table and chairs with direct access to the front yard with string lights and fire pit. The upstairs living area opens to a deck with panoramic views and a full swinging day bed. Our bedrooms feature comfy beds, nooks and chairs for working or reading, blackout shades, and a small kids toy collection. Bathrooms feature beautiful tile work, granite counters, and a spa style free standing tub and oversized shower with dual showerheads in the primary bedroom en suite. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the dining and main level living areas making it a great space to gather for a meal or games. Pets are welcome with approval. Our pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please inquiry for special approval. Dogs can enjoy the dog pen that offers a dog door to the dog run or they can play safely in the entirely fenced yard. This home is a great location close to Monument and Palmer Lake but also less than 5 minutes to shopping, dinning, and entertainment in north Colorado Springs (US Air Force Academy, Top Golf, indoor skydiving, Sunset Amphitheater, Mining Museum, Bass Pro). Guest access The entire home and yard with the exception of the backyard shed and some locked cabinets is available to guests.
