This spacious and relaxing home features a traditional Bajan aesthetic. Featuring 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms there's comfortable sleeping space for up to 6 persons making it ideal for families, groups or even a couple looking for the perfect getaway. Don't worry sole travellers, we're perfect for you too. You'll feel right at home from the time you arrive. Guests have access to the bedroom(s) which will be used and all living, dining and kitchen areas. Once booked the house is yours. This spacious home maintains the aesthetic of a traditional Barbadian home with a slight contemporary flare. Mahogany and tile floors line the three bedrooms with plenty of closet space, two baths, eat in kitchen along with open formal dining room, living room space and veranda. Two of the bedrooms (The Sun Room and Sand Room) feature AC. The third bedroom, The Sea Room, does not currently feature AC at the moment and is cooled by a ceiling and standing fan. Centrally located along the main bus route to Bridgetown and Oistins along with connecting bus depots. 5 minute walk to the beach and the famous St. Lawrence Gap for night life and dining. 7-10 minute walk to the supermarket, banks, post office, gas station and Cave Shepard Department store. Guests have full access to the bedroom(s) which they will be using and to the kitchen, living and dining areas, laundry room, backyard and verandah. Bedrooms not in use are typically kept locked. If there are any couples in your group please let us know. I am occasionally onsite and will be available throughout your stay. I can be reached via the Airbnb app (preferred method) or my personal contact details which are listed in the house manual. The neighbourhood is safe and reasonably quiet. Neighbours look our for each other and are very helpful. The situation of the house provides a relaxing environment for guests but close proximity to restaurants, transportation, shops and other activities. The house is located along a bus route with easy access to transportation. Taxis travel along the main road often and are easy to access, however I can recommend a taxi service if preferred. There is also a car rental company one minutes walk away from the house in the event you wish to rent a car. For guests who wish to drive and utilize GPS, the Waze app works well in Barbados. Ask about our Home and Roam Package which offers a rental vehicle as an add-on to your booking at a discounted rate. 10% discount on the regular car rental fee for short term stays. 15-20% discount for 30+ day stays. Other Information Should damage occur to any items in the house, replacement and/or repair costs of the damaged items is the responsibility of the guest(s). Please be respectful of the property and adhere to the house rules as outlined. Registration is required for each guest. No smoking indoors. No illegal drugs or activities allowed. No pets allowed. No parties allowed. Remove shoes upon entering the house. Please close windows in front house upon leaving the house and at bedtime. Please turn off fans, AC units and appliances when leaving the Manor. Place hot pots and pans on trivets to avoid damage to counters and tables. Where possible, when returning from the beach please wash sand off in backyard. Plastic and glass bottles may be placed in the bin in the laundry room for recycling. Garbage collection day is usually Wednesdays. Garbage may be placed in the blue bin to the right of the front wall for collection on Wednesdays. There is charge of USD 25.00 per key for lost keys.
