Description

Single-story accommodation, in a small contemporary house of 75 m2; 2 bedrooms; parking on the property. You benefit from all the available space of the Park (1600 m2 exclusively). You are alone on the property. Great view of the village from the Park. All amenities on site, you can shop on foot (5 min)! In addition, there is the market of Puy-l'évêque every Tuesday (5 min walk). Many restaurants and guinguettes are also just around the corner from the house. The space NB: There is no wifi, but you have a good 4G network; consider "connection sharing" from your smartphone if you want to connect to your computer. There is also no washing machine, but we leave you the equipment for small laundry. Guest access Entire place. Outdoor parking. You benefit from all the available space of the Park (1600 m2 exclusively). You are alone on the property. Other things to note Location: Puy-l'Évêque, a beautiful medieval village, in the heart of the Cahors vineyard, in a still preserved region full of unknown treasures. Located on the edge of Quercy, adjoining Agenais and Bouriane, the region has very varied landscapes over very close distances; towards Montcabrier (10 minutes away) you will find oak forests and chestnut groves, further west towards Penne-d'Agenais (30 minutes) is Lot-et-Garonne with its fruit and vegetable crops including the famous Agen prunes. To the south, Le Quercy Blanc (Montcuq 30 min) and to the east Cahors (30 min), Saint-Cirq Lapopie and the Limogne causse (1 hour). Follow the meanders of the great Lot River, and discover the architectural, gastronomic, and historical riches of this beautiful region, through a countryside with postcard landscapes; Vineyards, River, Forests, Valleys, Medieval Villages, Farms, Castles. A concentration of the Southwest! Things to do: - Medieval castle of Bonaguil (20 min); a must see! It is one of the largest castles that can be seen in France. - Navigation on the Lot; booking for a Gabare tour and kayak rental at the bottom of the village. - Bike ride or walk around Puy-l'Évêque (bike rental at the bottom of the village). You are in the heart of the Cahors vineyard. Stroll amid vineyards along the river; on pretty little roads (and bike paths), you will discover castles, golden stone buildings, as well as old and charming chapels. You can also swim in the Lot not far from the village in small wild corners. - Beautiful small villages nearby: Albas, Grezels, Belaye (View of the Valley), Anglars-Juillac, Saint-Médard (Michelin-starred restaurant "Le Gindreau"), Les Arques (Zadkine Museum), Goujounac, Lherm, Montcabrier... - Discover the wines of Cahors (Malbec); Pêle-mêle the best addresses: Château Pineraie, Triguedina, Chambert, Nozieres, Famaey, Mercuès, Le Clos d'un jour… - Prayssac Market (5 min away); Elected Most Beautiful Market of Occitania 2019. You will find local products; goat cheeses, cold cuts, foie gras, gizzards/duck breasts/duck confits, chickens, "Pastis du Quercy" cakes, fruits/vegetables and prunes from Lot-et-Garonne. - Castelfranc: Equipped beach/Supervised swimming in the Lot (10 min). - Throughout the summer, there are gourmet markets in all the surrounding villages, festivals (guitars in Puy-L'Évêque, blues in Cahors, cellos in Belaye and theater in Bonaguil), not to mention early August, the votive festival of Puy-l'évêque with meals/banquet and sumptuous fireworks.
