The space Location: In our beautiful region, in the heart of vineyards, castles, fishing spots, hunting areas and the famous Beauval Zoo, we present our charming cottage located in Châtillon sur Cher, at the crossroads of Touraine and Sologne. You will be here in the city center of our countryside with the first amenities just a few meters away. It is a quiet and relaxing place where you can come and relax, enjoy the natural setting and discover our cheese and wine specialties. The house: You will enjoy access to the first floor which serves, over 87 m2: A hallway with a wardrobe, - one bedroom with a king size bed of 2m by 2m and a bunk bed for one person plus one person 90/200 cm and equipped with a Smart TV - one bedroom with a 140/190 cm bed and equipped with a TV. All the bedding in the cottage is new. A living room (with a sofa bed for two people) with TV and Chromecast (you can watch your phone screen on the TV, e.g. Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, YouTube with your personal account, just search for the TV after the cast), a toilet, a shower room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room, all beautifully decorated in a contemporary style. For your comfort, the accommodation is equipped with reversible air conditioning and electric shutters. You will find a laundry area that consists of a washing machine, dryer, drying rack and ironing board and iron. A key box will allow you to arrive and leave freely and independently. Bed linen and tea towels are provided, your beds will be made for your arrival. Options are available tailored to satisfy all of our customers: ▪️To prepare for the end of your stay, you can: • take the cleaning package (at an additional €40)? or • do the cleaning yourself (free)? ▪️Towels are not provided initially, but we can provide you with towels at a price of €3 per unit (extra charge). Please let us know how many you want. And if not, don't forget to bring some. The accommodation is not suitable for people with disabilities as it is located on the first floor. Guests will enjoy a WiFi code in the house (fiber). Baby equipment will be available in the entrance closet (baby bed with mattress and bed linen, high chair). The bathroom is equipped with a large shower with shower chair, baby bath and a changing table. Games for children but also board games for older children are at your disposal. You can find in our gîte a welcome booklet (also sent in digital format after your booking), with the good addresses to visit, delicious restaurants, all our specialties and the must-do activities in our region. The outdoors: The house rests on an exterior of more than 1500 m2 of fenced greenery where you can park in front, in the courtyard closed by a gate, and enjoy the barbecue (charcoal to be provided), garden furniture, deckchair with small beach, swing, soccer goal, slide, outdoor table and chairs at the back of the gîte. For our biker, cyclist or fisherman friends, at the back of the accommodation there is an outbuilding "the luggage room" that you can use to shelter bicycles, motorcycles or fishing gear (we take no responsibility in case of loss or theft), the luggage room is locked and you will find the key in a key box next to it. We live in the municipality and can quickly get to the cottage if needed. We disclaim all liability for bodily injury within the gîte and its surroundings. Please respect the neighborhood and noise schedules. No smoke inside the house. Parties are forbidden. Please take off your shoes at the entrance. Thank you for respecting the premises. Guest access The accommodation is located on the entire floor of the house, accessed by an external staircase. (The ground floor is not inhabited, so you will be the only ones in the accommodation) If you wish, you can drop off your bags from 3 p.m. in an outbuilding at the back of the house that is closed by a key box.
