Beautiful house & garden in the heart of La Rochelle

Lovely stone house completely renovated, located 7 minutes walk from the central market, the city center and the Old Port, and 15 minutes from the beach. This family home is close to all shops (bakeries, pharmacy, Carrefour Market, Picard in a very close radius) and transport. Clear and spacious house of 120m2 with beautiful terrace, garden, vegetable garden, bike shed and easy parking but time stamped on the street. However, you can park your car for free 6 minutes by foot. The space We like: 1- the location!!! Steps away from the central market, but easily accessible by car, unlike the hyper-center. We drop off the luggage, we park then we do everything on foot or by bike! 2- the garden and the vegetable garden, a small fresh and wooded haven of peace - and the large terrace ideal for extended meals:) 3- the charm of the old in the comfort of the modern; completely renovated, the house is very comfortable. In the main house you will find: On the ground floor: A master suite with a queen size bed, reading lights, dressing room, bathroom with shower and sink, two swinging down windows with electric roller shutters. A spacious entrance with shoe rack and dressing room. A large fully equipped kitchen, with a return from the countertop where it is possible to eat at 4; which opens onto the terrace. A shelf clearance that serves as a pantry. A toilet (where the hot water tank and pharmacy are located, in the small wooden furniture). A large opening and two steps lead to the dining / lounge room. A wooden table comfortably accommodates 6 people (extender for 8 available on request). The cozy living room consists of two armchairs, a sofa and Moroccan poufs. There are two libraries for your use! Wood-burning stove completes the layout. A back projector turns the living room into a private movie theater in seconds:) A wooden staircase leads upstairs. A small landing serves a bathroom with bath, sink and toilet. Two bedrooms each have their own mezzanine. In the first bedroom: a double bed (140x190) In the second bedroom: a single bed (90x190) and a double bed (clic-clac 140x190) in the mezzanine. An extra single mattress is available. There is also an umbrella bed available. All openings have electric roller blinds and swinging-lower openings. The bedding is new and comfortable. The living room lights are adjustable. The house has fiber and good wifi. Water diffusers are installed on green plants, if you find them looking unhappy feel free to water them! We live in our house year-round, with our two children; we have completely renovated it ourselves with love, forgive the small flaws you might find:) Guest access You have access to the whole house and garden, including the shed where you will find washer and dryer, tools, outdoor toys and sunbeds. Only the garage will be locked. Access to the house is from the street, where you enter the garden through a gate that is best to lock at night, or when you are not there. The house has a front door that directly leads to an entrance and the kitchen, and outdoor lights (including LED garland on the terrace) Other things to note Be careful if allergies: cat on board! Our lively and kind cat Otto will be your host during your stay. She is quite self-contained, comes and goes by her flap (do not touch the settings!), receives her croquettes through the vending machine and the water through her fountain, but if you have a technical concern, feel free to give her:) she likes pets - beware of young children, a paw is not impossible if you bother her. The vegetable garden (homemade seedlings!) is at your disposal, and should in theory be full of tomatoes, beans, beans, carrots, peas, broccoli, strawberries, etc. Feel free to enjoy it and harvest what you need!
