Haven of tranquility : spacious house with pool

Welcome to Romain and Dimitri's home, a haven of tranquillity in a beautiful village just a few kilometres from the main tourist attractions. We have designed this space to offer you a serene holiday where you can truly relax. Every detail has been thought of, from the comfort of our rooms to your outdoor spaces and swimming pool. We attach great importance to decoration and cleanliness to make you feel at home. The space Our accommodation has been completely renovated by us. The decor is modern and warm, with a mix of antique and new furniture. As art lovers, we have decorated the gîte with museum posters and works by artist friends. We attach great importance to decoration and cleanliness, so that our guests feel right at home. The house is fully air-conditioned and comprises, on the ground floor, a living room with smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a utility room with washing machine and storage space, two toilets, a shower room, an office area and a garage. Upstairs, you have your four bedrooms with top-of-the-range queen-size beds and bed linen, a games room with board games and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Please ask us about the availability of baby equipment when booking if necessary. Outside, you can enjoy your sunny, unoverlooked 70m2 terrace with a dining and relaxation area. We have also installed a plancha. A path leads to the secure 10m x 5m swimming pool with large terrace, pool house with summer kitchen, sun loungers and parasols, and table tennis. The swimming pool is shared with us and our 2 years old daughter and opened 11 am to 6 pm. You have your own separate entrance on the street side and another via your garage. In front of the garage, you can easily park 2 vehicles. If required, there is an additional car park 100m away in the village. When you arrive, we'll give you two sets of keys for total independence during your stay. We speak in English as well. From your accommodation you can walk or cycle to the sea, passing through the countryside and Valmagne Abbey. We're just 20 minutes from all the must-see places in the region (Etang de Thau, Pézénas, beaches, natural and cultural sites, Montpellier, Sète and Béziers). Access to the A75 motorway in 10 minutes and the A9 in 20 minutes. If you need to do some shopping, you can go any day to Dédé and Papou, who run the village grocery shop just a few metres from the accommodation. Every Monday, we have the delicious pizzas from La Guica, who bring their food truck to the village car park. Here are some nearby places to visit: - Étang de Thau and Mèze (15 minutes away): the largest lake in the Occitanie region, famous for its oyster and mussel production. Here you can enjoy a variety of water sports, boat trips and fresh seafood in the many restaurants around the lake or in the harbour. - Abbaye de Valmagne (5 minutes away): a beautifully preserved Cistercian abbey with splendid gardens and wine tasting. - Beach (20 minutes away): enjoy the beaches of the Mediterranean, ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. - Pézenas (10 minutes away): a town steeped in art and history, with cobbled streets, craft shops, artists' stalls and a rich architectural heritage. Don't miss the weekly Saturday market and cultural festivals. - Gorges de l'Hérault (30 minutes away): a spectacular natural site for hiking, swimming and canoeing. - Sète (30 minutes away): known as the ‘Venice of Languedoc’, Sète is a vibrant port town with picturesque canals, beaches and a vibrant cultural scene. Discover its fish markets, seafood restaurants, Mont Saint-Clair with its panoramic views, and numerous festivals. - Montpellier (45 minutes away): a vibrant city with many museums, restaurants and shops. We live on the same property, so we can welcome you in person and get to know you. If you wish, we will take the time to show you around and provide you with all the information you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As your neighbours, we remain at your disposal throughout your stay. If you need help or have a question, we're easy to get in touch with.
