Visit the waterfalls at Mortain, Hill 314 and the petit chapel celebrating 80 years of liberation in 2024. Close to the Parc National, Domfront, Villedieu les poêles and Avranches Easy access to Mont Saint Michel, Jullouville and Granville all under one hour. Ferry ports at Saint Malo and Caen 90 minutes, Cherbourg 2 hours. Pit stop, short break or longer stay, comme tu veux. The space Respectfully renovated bread oven ideal for two people (plus children is possible) Everything you need for a comfortable stay, with plenty of original character. Not suitable for children under 5 as no child gate. Set in Normandie countryside enjoy a relaxing break. Close to amenities in Mortain, café, restaurant/bistro and supermarket. Excellent boulangerie and independent shops. Max the donkey will say hello when you arrive. * New for July 2026 Air-conditioning installed! Guest access Private car park (space for two cars). Access to the gîte via three steps (step free access available on request) Other things to note Max the donkey is curious and usually announces visitors. He can get excited sometimes and doesn't always check the time before he says hello to the world. I also have cats, they generally keep to themselves. I also have a border collie dog, Tron. He is very friendly, and loves chasing a ball or frisbee:)
