Obenrüdener Kotten, stone house

The Kotten is actually a small factory, a former knife grinding shop, and is located at the end of the valley and away from the village directly on the Wupper. This is where industrial architecture, tranquility and a lot of nature meet. The space The apartment is located in the annex, with a private entrance and garden. We like it relaxed: In the stone house you will find a fun design, individual design and a lot of space. The apartment is comfortable and superbly equipped - for every season. Especially nice in summer: In front of the kitchen are the terrace and garden, and in winter the underfloor heating and fireplace make the house cozy and warm. The Steinhaus has a garden with seating for dining and relaxing. Hiking and jogging and on hot days even a swim in the river are possible right outside the front door. Guest access In the cottage, it's always a bit outside inside. When you enter, you have a view of the living area with the fireplace, the open kitchen and the dining table - but also the patio door with the view into the garden and the valley. On the first floor, there is also a bedroom with 2 beds, a shower room and the utility room. One floor up, on the gallery, there is a reading corner, a desk workspace and a cozy sofa that can be converted into a double bed if necessary. From here you go into the second bedroom with a double bed and a crib and into a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bathtub like in heaven. Other things to note To help you find your way around, there is a brochure in the apartment with information on Wi-Fi, waste separation, water quality and shopping as well as all important telephone numbers. By the way, on the subject of sustainability: We largely cover our energy needs ourselves, through geothermal energy and a photovoltaic system on the upper roof. The Kotten is a non-smoking house - smokers will find ashtrays and plenty of fresh air outside the door.
