The space Acquired in 2023, the house and its decoration are the result of one of Jenny and Tristan's passions: the insatiable quest for designer objects and furniture found during their travels or in the region. The whole offers a warm decoration to accompany you during your stay and complete the natural contribution of the spaces that surround you within the Maison Maa. You will have access to the entire 7000 m2 estate. It has two houses, one of 220 m2 and the second of 80 m2 as well as a covered shelter outside. #1 - The main house overlooks the courtyard and the caretaker's house also available for rent at the entrance of the property. It is the most important space in Maison Maa. It is 220 m2 and sleeps 8. It has 4 bedrooms, including 3 with comfortable queen size beds that you will appreciate, and a bedroom that can allow you to have two separate beds of 80 x 200 cm or a queen size bed also once put together. Each of the bedrooms has its own sink, the ground floor bedroom has its own bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet, while the other 3 upstairs share a bathroom with shower and toilet. On the ground floor, you will enjoy a spacious kitchen with old-fashioned charm where you can gather to prepare the dishes and wonders that you will be able to concoct. It is connected to a first living room near the fireplace (wood is available) which is open to the dining room. This large room allows you to receive and meet while connecting the outdoor areas of the courtyard to the garden that will charm you at every moment of the day. The second living room offers you a breathtaking view of the bay, with the old Baie de Somme train passing in the distance that you can admire. It is a space of tranquility to play chess, write, draw or contemplate nature, the garden or the bay, but also a place to meet in a room conducive to conviviality. The kitchen is fully equipped (Nespresso machine, kettle, oven and gas hobs, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) #2 - The caretaker's house upstream of the main house of Maison Maa, is 80 m2 and can accommodate 4 people (up to 6 with its sofa bed). It has 2 bedrooms, the largest with a comfortable queen size bed that you will appreciate, the second can allow you to have two separate beds of 80 x 200 cm or a queen size bed also once put together. Each of the bedrooms has its own sink, and their own bathrooms. The master suite with a bathtub and the second with a shower. The separate toilet is located on the ground floor. On the ground floor, you will enjoy a kitchen/dining room with old-fashioned charm and a kitchen that has all the modern comforts where you can gather to prepare the dishes and wonders that you will be able to concoct. It is connected to the living room through which you will enter the house. These two spaces allow you to receive and meet while connecting with these large bay windows on the view of the Somme canal and the courtyard of the Maa house. Views that will charm you at any time of day. The bright entrances offer stunning views of the Somme Canal. It is a space of tranquility to play chess, write, draw or contemplate nature, but also a place to meet in a room conducive to conviviality. The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee maker, kettle, oven and electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) No matter where you are within the property, you will be immersed in light and serenity. The garden also has a covered multi-purpose space in which you will find a ping pong table, petanque (a boulodrome at the entrance of the property), molki, some sports equipment as well as a barbecue, tables and chairs for this space or to be arranged at your convenience outside (just remember to store them inside after use).
