"A sheep in the church" renovated stone house

Welcome home during your stay in this newly renovated 18th century stone house. We have carefully designed this 110 m2 space to comfortably accommodate up to 4 or 6 people, while preserving the old and typical elements associated with today's modernism. Located in a peaceful village between Caen and Bayeux, this house will be the starting point for visiting these 2 historic towns, the D-Day Landing Beaches and the surrounding countryside. The space We have put our heart into creating this cozy nest to make you feel at home, paying particular attention to comfort and decor. The house has a floor served by a stone staircase, where the 2 bedrooms, living room and 1 of the 2 shower rooms are located. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen and the other shower room. In order to help you plan further, here is some information: - The living room (27 m2) is equipped with comfortable velvet sofas, 1 of which is a new (2024) hotel-quality sofa bed (140 x 190 cm), a desk area, a flat-screen TV, a "La Boite à concept" Bluetooth speaker. View of the meadow and sheep. - The 2 bedrooms (18 m2 and 10 m2) are each equipped with a new (2024) queen size bed (160 x 200 cm) and hotel brand. Beds can be adapted to twin (2 x 80 x 200 cm) on request. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV. We provide you with all the bed linen, and the beds are made upon your arrival. Garden view. - The 2 shower rooms (6 m2 and 4 m2) have 1 and 2 sinks, walk-in showers, toilet, towel dryer, hair dryer, hand washing gel products, shower gel products, and NUXE brand shampoos (natural products made in France) or What Matters (organic, vegan products made in France). We provide you with all towels and mats. - The kitchen (26 m2) benefits from a kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, induction stove, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker and Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, flat-screen TV and a functional fireplace. We provide table linens and dish towels. View of courtyard, meadow and sheep. - To relax and dine outdoors, this house opens onto a private and enclosed 30 m2 courtyard with unobstructed and privileged views of a meadow with apple trees and sheep. This cozy courtyard is equipped for your well-being (1 table, 3 benches, 2 deckchairs, mattresses and cushions). Sunny southwest exposure, wind-sheltered location. - Free parking in the parking lot in front of the house. Looking forward to hosting you soon! Guest access Guests have access to the entire house (private house). Other things to note - The stone staircase has been preserved to maintain its authentic charm.
