The Monts d'Or Workshop

In an outbuilding of an 18th century farm, originally used as an artist's workshop, we welcome you for a peaceful stay in the heart of a village in the Monts d'Or, with direct access to hiking trails, 12 minutes by TER from Lyon. Our two horses are nearby. Linens and sheets are provided and the beds are made upon your arrival. The environment is not suitable for noisy parties, respect for the quiet of the neighborhood is essential. The space Living room: Guests can enjoy a 50m² cathedral living room, with its open equipped kitchen, reading area in front of the stove, seating area (+ foosball and folk guitar). Outdoors: The living room is open to the east by three orangery windows on a small terrace in the inner courtyard of the farmhouse, ideal for your breakfasts. To the west, a small garden open to the countryside. 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets: On the ground floor: - 1 double bedroom (bed 160x200cm) and its bathroom, overlooking the terrace - 1 triple bedroom (140x190cm and bed 90x190cm) and its bathroom - 1 separate WC served by the hallway Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 5 single beds (90x190cm) and its bathroom + 1 separate toilet Nearby: - Lyon center 25mn by car and 12mn by TER - Beaujolais and its vineyards from 20 minutes by car (Villefranche 8 minutes by train) - Quais de Saône 2km away with water activities - In the village: horseback riding booking/electric bike booking (Poleymieux au Mont d'Or)/Bakery, pharmacy and Spar/restaurant in Curis Au Mt d'Or - Pleasant Market every Friday morning in Neuville sur Saône (3km) - Immediate access to walking trails in the Monts d 'Or Access: The accommodation is easily accessible by train thanks to two nearby train stations: • Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or train station, 15-minute walk • Albigny–Neuville Station, 30-minute walk From these stations, TER trains serve Lyon in just 12 minutes (Lyon Vaise, Lyon Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache), with trains every 20 minutes or so. Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or train station also allows you to reach Villefranche-sur-Saône (Beaujolais) in 8 minutes.
