La Chaumière Vauban, View of Sea and Mont Saint-Michel

Nestled on the heights of the Cliffs of Champeaux, a classified site but also on the most beautiful kilometer of France, La Chaumière Vauban will offer you a breathtaking view of the Bay of Mont St Michel. With its 200 m² of living space, beautiful spacious rooms almost all with sea views, this Cottage will easily accommodate 8 adults and 4 children. You can contemplate Mont St Michel and Tombelaine, on the south-facing terrace or let yourself be lulled by the sound of the waves over a drink. The space La Chaumière Vauban is a unique house in Mont Saint-Michel Bay with stunning sea views. Newly renovated, it can comfortably accommodate 4 couples and 4 children. A private courtyard, enclosed with a gate, allows you to park up to 3 vehicles. Two terraces are at your disposal: one facing south with a sea view and one facing southwest with a sea view. A jetty at the bottom of the house is available to accommodate a boat up to 7 meters long. The house has 5 bedrooms: 1 sea view with a 160 cm bed and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor 1 terrace view with a 160 cm bed on the ground floor 1 sea view with a 180 cm bed, with shower and sink upstairs 1 sea view with a 140 cm bed upstairs 1 courtyard and sea view with 4 bunk beds upstairs A small bathroom with a shower and a separate sink is also located upstairs. Each floor has a separate toilet. The 50 m² living room is a great asset for family or friends reunions over a nice dinner. The house has a brand-new kitchen. A hot tub on the 2nd terrace will promise you long moments of relaxation . With us everything is included the hot tub, linens and cleaning. As for the environment: The house is located on the heights of the cliffs of Champeaux, a listed and protected site since 1973, along with the Vallée du Lude, a wild site of great natural richness (hundreds of species of birds and butterflies can be found there). Just behind the house is the GR223, also known as the Sentier des Douaniers, which borders the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, where you'll discover the 2 Cabanes Vauban as well as spectacular landscapes and colors that change with the tides. For thrill seekers, the Cliffs of Champeaux are renowned as a starting point for paragliders who fly over the bay. The beach at the foot of the cliff, a 5-minute walk from the house, is famous for shore fishing. You'll also notice from the terrace the number of fishermen gathering clams, cockles, razor clams, etc. Within a few minutes' drive, you can swim and laze on the beaches of St. Jean le Thomas, Carolles and Jullouville. Close to Granville, you can also take a trip on a traditional sailing ship, La Granvillaise or La Bisquine, for a day trip to the Chausey Islands. Not far from the house, on the Genets side, you will also find the departure point for the crossing of Les Grèves in a small group to Mont St. Michel with a certified guide. There are 3 restaurants within a 2-minute walk, with a preference for La Grange de Tom. In short, if you love the sea and nature, you should drop your bags at La Chaumière Vauban! Guest access All rooms of the house are available to vacationers as well as the courtyard. Please note, however, that the basement area and access to the garden delimited by the planters at the end of the terrace is strictly prohibited for vacationers. Other things to note Linens are provided (sheets, towels, dish towels) Bath towels for the hot tub are not included. Final cleaning is included. For hygiene reasons, it is forbidden to sleep directly on the comforters. Whenever possible, I am there to welcome you, but you can check in independently using the gate code and the lockbox. Parties are not allowed. Access to the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. However, everything is on one level if people have difficulty getting around (bedrooms, toilet, and shower room on the ground floor). A deposit check of €1,500 will be requested upon arrival.
