Local tourism : 5 minute drive from an olympic size swimming pool, 13 tennis courts, walking and climbing in the famous local forests, canoeing, Accrobranche, medieval castle of Nemours, the Barbizon artist ateliers. The space This house is great for families, for groups of friends and for children of all ages. The space is ideal for getting together with your close ones and sharing good times. All leisure and tourist activities are within easy reach of the village. I lived in Chevrainvilliers for many years and renovated the property with love in 2014. So come and treat yourself to a real break, discover the local countryside and the famous rocks and climbing activities in the Larchant and Fontainebleau forests. The house is right next to Paris for sightseeing day trips (just one hour from Paris by train). Leisure activities are abundant and are all within 5 to 15 minutes of the house: an olympic size swimming pool, sauna and hammam, canoeing on the Loing river, a huge tennis court complex, adventure park, walks, climbing. Enjoy the many sites of natural beauty and history : Fontainebleau and Nemours castle, market at Milly la Forêt and more. Nemours hosts the region’s largest Prehistoric museum! Relax in the large 30m2 living room, enjoy a good sized kitchen for family meals or groups of friends. Chill out in the garden or courtyard. Have a barbecue. Play Petanque in the village. If it rains we have plenty of games and books, as well as high speed internet. There are 2 connecting bedrooms on the ground floor (ideal for families with children). They are separated by a glass door (not soundproof) and the yellow room leads to the kitchen through a doorway with a curtain. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs which are completely separate, one of which is 40m2 and which makes a fantastic playroom, or a yoga space! It has a cot, high chair and children’s toys and equipment. New bedding in all rooms! Please note we only have one bath/shower room which is shut by a glass door and a curtain. On the land is your large house, with its garden furniture - large table and parasol and 4 deck chairs. In the far corner, a small house where Christian, your host, will be staying, and will be available if you need him. The two houses are completely independent and separated. The courtyard is mainly for you, and the rear garden is entirely private. Guest access Independent access to the main house. Two parking space in the courtyard, plenty of parking outside in the village. Other things to note Housework includes bed linen and towels. If there are less guests, I can offer a lower price. The staircase to the second floor is a little steep, but protected. There is only one small bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. The bathroom door is a sliding glass door with a dark curtain for privacy. There are two washbasins and another toilet on the ground floor. For very large families or groups of friends, you'll need a little patience. The living room is heated by a large pellet stove and we will provide you with 2 bags for the week, or 1 bag for shorter stays. As we are concerned about the environment, please do not use the electric radiators excessively. The rental price includes reasonable use of the heating if necessary. We rent the house from spring to early autumn for this reason. We look forward to meeting you!
