Elegant and comfortable house 1 hour from Paris Gare de Lyon by train or car. 5 minutes away: 50 m swimming pool, tennis lessons, walks in the forests of Larchant, climbing, canoeing on the Loing, tree climbing, the old castle of Nemours, visiting the workshops of Barbizon... Ideal for groups of friends, family reunions, tourism, absolute relaxation. No parties please! Pets allowed upon request. Open from April until the end of October, unless special request. The space Come with your family, a group of friends, with children of all ages. This house is ideal for reunions and good times shared together. All leisure and tourist activities are next to the village. This was my main house and I completely renovated the building in 2014. The place is perfect for taking a real breath of country air, discovering nature and the famous stones of the forests of Larchant and Fontainebleau. The house is right next to Paris (one hour by train) for sightseeing during the day. Leisure activities are abundant and are all 5 to 15 minutes from the house: 50 m Olympic swimming pool under the trees, sauna, hammam, canoeing and kayaking on the Loing, a huge complex of tennis courts, adventure park, walks, climbing... Not to mention visits to sites of history and beauty: the castles of Fontainebleau and Nemours, the market of Milly la Forêt... and the largest Museum of Prehistory of Ile de France. Relax in the large 30 m2 living room, enjoy a very large kitchen for family dining. Rest or have your BBQ in the garden or courtyard. Play pétanque in the village. If it rains, many games and books are available, as well as high-speed wifi. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor that are through (ideal for families with children). These rooms are separated by a glass door (not soundproofed). The yellow room opens to the kitchen and is separated by a curtain. There are still 2 well-separated bedrooms upstairs, one of which is 40 m2, well suited for children's games or for practicing yoga! It has a permanent crib, high chair and early childhood facilities. Please note - there is only one bathroom/shower upstairs which is closed by a glass door and curtain. On the land there is your large house with its garden equipment (table for 8 people, umbrella, 4 deckchairs). Further away, in the corner, there is a small house, where Christian, your host, will reside during the stays, available if needed. Both houses are fully independent and well separated. The courtyard is mainly for you and the back garden is entirely private. Guest access Independent access to the main house. Two parking spaces in the courtyard, plenty of parking outside. Other things to note Housekeeping includes bedding. If you come with fewer people, I can offer a discount. The staircase on the first floor is a little steep, but protected. There is only one bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, and the room closes with a sliding glass door and a black curtain. There are two sinks and another toilet on the ground floor. For very large families or large groups of friends, it would take a little patience. The living room is heated by a large pellet stove and we will provide 2 bags for the week, or 1 bag for shorter stays. As we are concerned about the environment, please do not excessively consume electric radiators. The rental rate includes reasonable use of heating if needed. We rent the house from spring to early fall for this reason. We look forward to meeting you!
