Charming and spacious family house at the entrance to the Morvan natural park, in the town of Vault de Lugny (89200). 7 km from the fortified city of Avallon and 14 km from Vézelay and its basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful view of the Montmartre hill. Large, fully fenced garden. 4 m x 10 m pool heated in summer (June–July–August). This is our family vacation house. It's not sanitized! This is our home! The space The 240m² house with Burgundy slabs, tiles, exposed beams, consists of a ground floor, a floor, a large wooded garden and a swimming pool accessible in summer. You will appreciate its location in the heart of the Burgundy countryside, its calm and its volumes. Ideal for holidays, a weekend with family or friends with 10 beds. Beds made on arrival for more tranquility! On the ground floor • A large comfortable living room overlooking the garden and swimming pool equipped with a pellet stove, TV, DVD player and family furniture stocked with books and board games. • A spacious dining room with a dining table seating 10 in front of a wood-burning stove, vintage dishwasher, dresser, console, and small workspace with an antique shop desk completes this large room. • Kitchen with Burgundy slabs, wood stove overlooking the gravelled terrace and pool, generously equipped (gas hob (automatic safety), fridge freezer, traditional oven and microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, food processor, baby dishes (timbals, bowls, plates, plastic cutlery), children's chair booster, Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. A small reserve of condiments, oil, vinegar, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, a hand towel and dish towels will be available upon your arrival. • Back kitchen with hanging space and closet, step (child booster) • Bathroom with shower • Toilet plus washing and drying machine area (Bosch 6kg). Upstairs: - 5 bedrooms: - 2 with 140x200 double bed - 1 with 160x200 wrought iron double bed - 1 with 140x200 double bed and a 70x140 baby cot with bars. - 1 with 2 Single beds 90x200. Each room is equipped with a wardrobe, wardrobe with belts, a workspace with desk, two pillows and one duvet per bed with sheets and cases. For more comfort, your beds will be made on arrival by us. Our kids share their Playmobils! You will find a safe filled with characters, cars and other games in the room with the 90x200 beds. - Bathroom with bathtub, 2 large sinks, toilet, bidet, towel rack, closet with plenty of drawer storage, hair dryer, one bath sheet per person. The end of stay cleaning is charged €90. In the wooded garden enclosed by low walls and equipped with a gate and automatic gate: - Swing gantry with slide - A badminton net available - A game of darts available - Garden and pool furniture - A children's basketball basket - A charcoal barbecue (a small supply of charcoal will be available for starting) Hikes and panoramas: Near the house you will find departures for beautiful hikes through the countryside paths and the cousin's valley. - At the foot of the Montmartre hill a path will take you to the top of the hill and its three lime trees. This is a discreet, uncrowded hike that reveals unique panoramas. - From the lavoir de Vault de Lugny, going up the Chemin de Bolard, a first escarpment rises up the hill. After just a 1/4 hour walk the trail offers a perspective aligning the Avallon water tower with the Vault de Lugny bell tower. A little further you can reach the GR. - The church of Saint Germain d 'Auxerre de Vault de Lugny dates back to the 16th century, it houses, among other things, 13 murals around the nave, representing a scene of the passion of Christ. Shops - Avallon and its walled city offers a covered market and a weekly market every Saturday morning from the Town Hall Square to Place Vauban where you will find local and seasonal products. Outside the city you will find a Hyper U, and several supermarkets. Electric car charging The house does not offer a fast charging point but you will find on Avallon a first station 6 minutes by car from the house on Place du Lidl. More things to do Many activities are available nearby: remarkable tourist places (Avallon, Vezelay, Château de Bazoches, Roman thermal site...)
