Charming and spacious family house at the entrance to the Morvan Nature Park, in the municipality of Vault de Lugny (89200). 7 km from the fortified city of Avallon and 14 km from Vézelay and its UNESCO World Heritage basilica. Beautiful view of the Montmartre hill. Large fully fenced garden. 4 m x 10 m swimming pool heated in summer (June-July-August). This is our family vacation home. It's not sanitized! This is our home! The space The 240 m² house with Burgundy slabs, tiles, exposed beams, consists of a ground floor, a first floor, a large wooded garden and a swimming pool accessible in summer. You will enjoy its location in the heart of the Burgundy countryside, its calm and its volumes. Perfect for vacations, a weekend with family or groups of friends with 10 beds. Beds made on arrival for more peace of mind! On the ground floor • A large comfortable living room overlooking the garden and swimming pool equipped with a pellet stove, TV, DVD player and family furniture filled with books and board games. • A spacious dining room with a dining table that can accommodate 10 people in front of a wood-burning stove, a period sideboard, a dresser, a console and a small workspace with an antique desk complete this large room. • Kitchen with Burgundy tiles, wood stove overlooking the gravel terrace and swimming pool, generously equipped (gas hob (automatic safety), fridge-freezer, traditional oven and microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, food processors, baby dishes (cups, bowls, plates, plastic cutlery), child booster chair, Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. A small supply of condiments, oil, vinegar, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, a hand towel and dishes will be at your disposal upon arrival. • Back kitchen with wardrobe and cupboard, step (booster seat for children). • Bathroom with shower • Toilets plus washing and drying machines (Bosch 6 kg). Upstairs: - 5 bedrooms: - 2 with double bed of 140 x 200 cm - 1 with 160 x 200 wrought iron double bed - 1 with double bed of 140 x 200 and a baby bed of 70 x 140 with bars. - 1 with 2 single beds of 90 x 200. Each room is equipped with a wardrobe, a wardrobe with hangers, a workspace with desk, two pillows and a duvet per bed with sheets and pillowcases. For added comfort, your beds will be made upon arrival by us. Our children share their Playmobils! You will find a chest filled with characters, cars and other games in the room with the 90 x 200 beds. - Bathroom with bathtub, 2 large sinks, toilet, bidet, towel rail, cupboard with many drawers, a hairdryer, a bath towel per person. The end of stay cleaning is charged €90. In the wooded garden enclosed by low walls and equipped with a gate and an automatic gate: - A swing frame with slide - A badminton net available - A dartboard available - Garden and pool furniture - A children's basketball hoop - A charcoal barbecue (a small supply of charcoal will be available for starting) Hiking and panoramic views: Near the house you will find departures for beautiful hikes through the country paths and the Cousin Valley. - At the foot of the Montmartre hill, a path will take you to the top of the hill and its three linden trees. It is a discreet hike, uncrowded and yet reveals unique panoramas. - From the Vault de Lugny washhouse, going up the Bolard path, a first escarpment rises on the hill. After just 1/4 of an hour's walk, the trail offers a perspective aligning the Avallon water tower with the Vault de Lugny bell tower. A little further you can reach the GR. - The church of Saint Germain d'Auxerre de Vault de Lugny dates from the 16th century, it houses among other things 13 murals around the nave, representing a scene of the passion of Christ. Shops - Avallon and its fortified town offers a covered market and a weekly market every Saturday morning from the town hall square to Place Vauban, where you will find local and seasonal products. Outside the city you will find a Hyper U, and several supermarkets. Electric car charging The house does not offer a fast charging station, but you will find a first station in Avallon, 6 minutes by car from the house on Place du Lidl. Other activities Numerous activities are available nearby: remarkable tourist places (Avallon, Vézelay, Château de Bazoches, Roman thermal site...) Cinema in Avallon, wine cellars & tasting, museums, visit to La Grande Grotte d'Arcy-Sur-Cure, canoeing in Saint Père, tree climbing, adventure sports, biking...🚲 Guest access - Access possible depending on the dates and times of arrival: by key box, by the owners or by the concierge. - Assistance and reception possible with the "Les près Damoiseau" concierge. - Check-in and check-out - We remain at your disposal for any information during your stay.
