This 95m2 Percheronne house is separate from the main house where we live. It has been designed for the absolute comfort of two people looking for peace and authenticity: fully equipped kitchen opening onto the garden, beautiful bathroom with shower, TV lounge-library, large-screen home cinema, bedroom and bathroom... nothing is missing. Open the door to the living room and you're straight into the 90 m2 wellness area, which includes a 7m x 6m heated indoor swimming pool and a large 5-seater spa. There's also a 2-person reclining sauna, located outside right next to the wellness area. As for the outdoor areas you can enjoy, they are all around (for the more adventurous, two bicycles are also available). During the months of September and October, nature offers a rare and captivating spectacle: the deer rut. Our guesthouse, nestled in the heart of a preserved natural environment, is ideally located in one of the best areas to observe – and above all listen to – this unique moment of wildlife. From the end of the day and throughout the night, you can hear the stags calling to each other through the woods, sometimes even very close by, whether from the guesthouse itself or during a quiet walk nearby. In terms of location, you are 120 km west of Paris (Porte de St Cloud) via the A13 and then the N12. The nearest station, at Verneuil sur Avre, accessible by train from Gare de Paris-Montparnasse (1h10), is around 20 km away. You can also get there from La Loupe or L'Aigle stations. For motor sports fans, you're just over an hour from the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans! And for those who prefer the sea, you're just an hour and a half from Deauville and the D-Day landing beaches. Guest access In terms of location, you are 120 km west of Paris (Porte de St Cloud) via the A13 and the N12. The nearest train station is Verneuil sur Avre is 20 Km from the gîte, accessible by train from Gare de Paris-Montparnasse (1h10).
