Dating back to the 17th century and accommodating up to 12 people, our Provençal farmhouse of more than 250 m2 and renovated over time, welcomes you in the heart of nature (not overlooked) in a comfortable and peaceful setting of several hectares. Ideal for families or couples of friends looking for tranquility, nature and entertainment, it is located 5 minutes from the beautiful medieval city of Sommières and about thirty minutes from Nîmes, Montpellier, or the beautiful beaches of the region. The space This former sheepfold, renovated over the years, includes: • 5 double, air-conditioned bedrooms - Bedroom 1: King size bed 200 X 180 - Bedroom 2: Queen size bed 200 X 160 - Bedroom 3: 2 single beds 190 X 90 - Bedroom 4: King size bed 200 X 180 - Bedroom 5: king size bed 190 X 180 • 1 mezzanine (located in the main living room) with 2 single beds (pull-out bed): - 1 bed 190 X 80 - 1 bed 190 X 80 • 2 lounges - A main living room with sofa and television - A small living room • 2 bathrooms - A small bathroom with bathtub for bedrooms 1, 4, 5 and Mezzanine - A small bathroom with shower for bedrooms 2 and 3 • 2 powder rooms • 2 kitchens - 1 outdoor kitchen near a beautiful shaded terrace/patio with 2 microwave ovens, 1 toaster, 1 kettle, 1 Krups filter coffee machine, 2 refrigerators, 1 large freezer, 1 washing machine - 1 indoor kitchen on the first floor with 1 microwave oven, 1 toaster, 1 kettle, 1 Electrolux filter coffee machine + 1 Dolcegusto capsule coffee machine, 1 oven, 1 fridge/freezer, 1 dishwasher. Facilities – Leisure: - 9 X 4.5 m swimming pool built in 2023, with deckchairs, and a relaxation area to have a drink in the shade. Entrance is through a lockable gate, but you should still be vigilant and not leave children unattended. - Gas plancha and barbecue - Playground with swings and trampoline - 11 m X 5 m petanque court in the shade of holm oaks (balls available) - Mini basketball court with a height-adjustable basket - Table tennis table (paddles and balls available) - Dart board - Libraries and board games. !! Use of all facilities under the full responsibility of accompanying adults * Animals accepted under certain conditions. Guest access The farmhouse is entirely at the traveler's disposal and without any overlooking. Other things to note What to do in the area? - Visit the pretty medieval town of Sommières with its markets, castle, picturesque streets and shops, restaurants and summer events. - Walks around the property, on foot or by bike: the property extends over several hectares, which will give you the opportunity to take nice walks and access the greenway connecting Sommières to Caveirac directly through the garrigue - Swimming in the river 15 minutes by car or at the sea about thirty minutes away. - Visit the cities of Nîmes or Montpellier (30 minutes) or a short getaway to the Cévennes about fifty minutes away if you feel like it. - Numerous places of interest to discover at the Sommières tourist office or on the brochures that you will find on arrival. Other things to note: - Air conditioning - Alarm system - High-speed internet connection - 2 TVs - Linens and towels provided / beds made (for stays of 4 nights minimum). Don't forget your beach towels though ;-) - Baby chair and travel cot on request. Condition of the accommodation upon check-in: In order to avoid any inconvenience upon arrival, we kindly ask that you report any damage, malfunction or anomaly within 24 hours of your arrival. In the absence of a report within this period, the accommodation will be considered compliant, and any damage found during your departure may be deducted from the security deposit. Please be careful and respectful: ! No parties or events with loud noise (music at reasonable volume and children's shouting allowed of course, even outside, until 10pm.) ! Use of the barbecue only in the yard ! Do not light fires ! Always close the mas when leaving the premises ! Notify immediately of any possible damage ! In case of presence of animals (acceptance under conditions), keep them away from sofas, beds and any other property likely to be damaged please. ! When you leave, we ask that you return the house in good condition (clean dishes, BBQ/Plancha cleaned, equipment stored, garbage cans emptied)
