Kota 'In the stars' - Instant Evasion

We can accommodate 2 adults in our kota. We are pleased to host you in our unusual accommodation: the Finnish Kota, a small hexagonal-shaped cottage used as a refuge for fishermen/hunters from Nordic countries. To increase the sleeping capacity from 2 to to 8 people, we offer our 'Hors du temps' cottage which is on the same property as the Kota. The space Welcome to our home! We are located in Haute-Corrèze, in the municipality of Merlines, in the countryside, in a small village of a few houses and quiet. Connect with nature and come and recharge in our fully equipped kota, with water and electricity, but without wifi! (Nonetheless, 4G goes great ...). We redesigned this little habitat by giving it all the comforts to have an authentic stay! Walk a few hundred meters and discover our Kota, nestled on grounds surrounded by fields and woods with pets, which you can observe with the large window directly overlooking the forest. It is not uncommon to observe, fox, deer, deer ... to your delight. You can also glimpse the Sancy Mountains and admire the stars and the Milky Way of our beautiful sky classified as‘ International Dark Sky Reserve ’!! Wake up to the birdsong and a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Our air-conditioned Kota, with an area of 19 m², can accommodate 2 people and faces south, and consists of: - a main room of 16 m² including a 140x190 bed with a dresser, an armchair, a television and a kitchen area with sink, fridge, 2 ceramic hobs, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle, a toaster as well as everything necessary for cooking. Books and small games are available. For your comfort, we have thought and set up a small independent shower room of 3 sqm, with WC, sink, shower and hair dryer. Namely, the maximum height of the shower room is 1.80 m in the center! The kota is air-conditioned in summer and we also provide you with a fan. The radiators will warm the atmosphere in winter. The bed is made upon your arrival and towels are provided. Outside, you can enjoy a large lot. A table, garden chairs as well as a barbecue are at your disposal to enjoy meals outside. A 10m2 terrace with sunbeds will be very nice for a break in the sun or have a good breakfast. You are minutes from all shops (convenience stores, bank, pharmacy ...) and close to Mont Dore ski resorts (40 min) and Super Besse (1h). Many activities and hikes are to be discovered nearby: Ideal for bike rides and walking. Wood and hiking trails on site, Chavanon River nearby. We look forward to welcoming you! Guest access The kota is 130m from the road, we will ask you to park your vehicle in the intended place. We'll give you the location when booking. So you have 130m to walk before enjoying your place of relaxation. Easy access and self check-in by secure key box from 2 p.m. Other things to note - Non-smoking space - Pets not allowed. -No parties or events. - For your convenience, we would like to point out that the maximum height of the shower room is 1.80 m in the middle! Watch your head, the kota is not conventional housing!! - Mandatory cleaning to be done at the end of the stay. - Bed and bath linen provided. - Provide a lamp to access the kota, as the arrival is not lit.
