Situated in the hills right in the middle of Aruba, 5-10 min drive from all beaches. If you love peace and quiet, being surrounded by nature , flora and fauna....this is your place! The space Right on the border of Aruba's national park Arikok, this hidden little paradise is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet, lazy chilling around the pool or in one of the hammocks. If you love long walks through the hills, while enjoying the most amazing views of the island from all angles, this is the place to stay for you! There is a shared pool on the premises, a lush garden, hammocks and lounge chairs throughout the garden. Our furry babies love to welcome you, spend time with you and enjoy petting and cuddles. You can have as much or as little interaction with us (your hosts) as you like. We are a very private kind of family, we very much respect the privacy of our guests as well. Everyone is always welcome and we love sharing our love for and knowledge of Aruba with our guests and friends. Mount Jamanota is the highest point of the island and therefor the views from that area are spectacular, the sunsets unforgettable, and because our property is almost completely hidden and very secluded, the peace and quiet so soothing, it's like a very unique little oasis and our favorite place to be. Even though Aruba is very small, we always recommend renting a car while staying anywhere in Aruba. The infrastructure is just not the best or safe, when it comes to bikes(paths), scooter driving and walkways and it's much to hot to walk long distances. Our location is reachable by public transportation, but buses only pass (maybe) two times a day. Best to rent a car. The kitchen is fully stocked. Stove, fridge, microwave, pots and pans and all you need to set a table for a feast. Anything missing, we most probably will have it for you, just ask us! Guest access One bedroom apartment with a open fully stocked kitchen, living room, and small bathroom with bath. Enjoy the shared pool and pool area, tropical garden, personal outdoor grill, the private sunbathing area, lounge chairs and chill areas The bedroom is airconditioned. The rest of the apartment was build to have the steady Tradewinds flow through the big windows and sliding doors. Also cuddling with one or more of our cats and or with Chica the sweetest little Boomer mix ever, is very much appreciated by the pets living in the surrounding gardens. You will be greeted by our tortoises and serenaded by our parrots as well! Other things to note It is very hard to describe the serenity of this hidden oasis, but one thing is sure, you will be revived and completely relaxed after staying here. And everyone says at the end of there stay, we should have booked all of our days here instead of at the busy and hectic Hotel area, we don't want to leave!!! :)
