In the summer months, the marina is home to some of the most expensive yachts in the world. From June to August the town hosts “Porto Rotondo in Fiera” a delightful street market that takes place every Wednesday morning. In Olbia, you can explore vibrant farmers' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended( 20 minutes). Otherwise, for self-catering, there are supermarkets and smaller shops close by. Some of Sardinia’s most beautiful beaches are close by, including Spiaggia Punta Volpe (5-minute drive), Spiaggia di Ira (4-minute drive) and Marinella Bay (7-minute drive). They are known for their soft sand and crystal-clear water. Olbia airport is just a 20-minute drive.
