Casa Altavista is located 25 minutes from the historic center of Veracruz and just minutes from the ocean and/or Laguna de Mandinga, filled with delicious Veracruz cuisine. This makes it a perfect place to relax and spend time with family and/or friends. Less than a 5-minute drive away are the famous and popular restaurants: Gran Café de La Parroquia and Villa Rica Seafood. During the day, you can explore the historic city of Veracruz; or if you prefer, you can enjoy Casa Altavista and engage in some physical activities, such as treadmills or cycling in the gym, swimming, mini soccer, and yoga. You can watch TV (with Megacable HD service, HBO Max app, Prime, Star+, Disney+, and Apple TV), play some XBOX games streaming on any TV (we include two controllers), or simply sunbathe by the pool and enjoy the views, or enjoy the jacuzzi. Give yourself the opportunity to relax in a unique place. *Upgrade your experience by adding: In-Home Chef, Daily Housekeeping, Massages, Yacht Trips, or Homemade Pizza from our oven. *Advance reservation required. Guest access Casa Altavista offers four fully equipped bedrooms (TV, Xbox streaming, desk, electric blackout blinds, indirect lighting), air conditioning, and each with a private full bathroom. It also features comfortable and elegantly decorated common areas to ensure your restful stay. We offer absolute privacy to our guests. We can also arrange for someone to pick you up and take you to the airport (for an additional fee). However, if your plan is more focused on exploring the historic city of Veracruz and its surroundings, we suggest renting a car for your convenience. At Casa Altavista, we have a small gym available for guests with a treadmill, bicycle, some weights, and an exercise chair (for adults only). There's also a charcoal grill for barbecues, and a wood-fired oven for making a delicious pizza and enjoying it with some fine wines, which you can store in the kitchen's wine cellar. Casa Altavista also offers an exclusive independent service where, with a 72-hour advance notice, guests can rent a boat for touring and/or water skiing (for a maximum of 14 people). The fee is charged per hour and is for exclusive use on the river. Other things to note To enhance your stay at the property, you can add any independent service, for an additional cost, that will make your stay something you'll enjoy and remember, such as: 1. In-house chef (breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner without leaving the property) 2. Daily general cleaning 3. Relaxing massages or physiotherapy sessions with incredible views of the lagoon 4. Yacht ride on the sea and/or lagoon 5. Pizza experience at home 6. Learn how to make pizza at home *All of these services are not part of our property; however, we recommend them. So far, all our guests who have taken them have been very satisfied. *All services require a reservation at least 72 hours prior to arrival, as they are subject to availability.
