We are Federica and Maurizio, Romans in love with Sicily! In 2023 we completely renovated this house (purchased by one of the most important Marsala wine producing families) and gave it back its splendor. The very large spaces both inside and outside make it very enjoyable and suitable for both families and groups. We are at your disposal to suggest you all possible itineraries and the most beautiful destinations to make your holiday unforgettable! Trapani airpoirt is only 10-15 minutes away. The space The holiday home UNA CHICCA D'AZZURRO (InstaG chiccadazzurro) and the hosts Maurizio & Federica await you with everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable holiday. Our house is pet friendly and accessible to people with mobility difficulties as it is step-free on the ground floor. The interior of approximately 180 m² is on two levels and consists of a large living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a large and fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (each for 2 people) and 2 bathrooms. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating in all rooms, washing machine and TV. The outdoor area includes two large verandas of approximately 40 m² each, a comfortable shower, a large terrace on the first floor and a panoramic terrace on the second floor. Inside the private garden there is a covered garage for 2 cars in addition to 2 uncovered parking spaces. Guest access The entire facility with its own entrance and totally free internal parking is for the exclusive use of our guests. We are 10-15 minutes' drive from Trapani-Marsala airport, which is connected to many Italian and European cities. Other things to note Trapani-Marsala airport is less than 15 minutes away and Palermo airport about 50 minutes. There you can rent a car from all major car rental companies (Avis, Europcar etc). We can also provide a transfer service on request. The beautiful sandy beaches south of Marsala (Costa del Signorino) are a 15-minute drive away and so is the picturesque beach of San Teodoro opposite Isola Lunga to the north of Marsala. A little further north you will also find the beach of Marausa with Egadi views. If you want to go a little further afield, you can enjoy wonderful beaches, bays and coves in Cornino, Macari and San Vito lo Capo. You can also explore Scopello and the Zingaro Nature Reserve (all about 60 minutes from home). The evocative Ettore and Infersa salt pans (immersed in the Stagnone Nature Reserve) from which you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets are 10 minutes away. The Genna salt pans, where you can have an aperitif with a view (and what a view!, are 5 minutes from home. At the port of Marsala you can also embark comfortably for the beautiful Egadi Islands (Favignana is 30 minutes by hydrofoil, Levanzo 50 minutes, Marettimo 1 hour and 30 minutes). The centre of Marsala is a 7-minute drive away, while the centre of Trapani is about 30 minutes away. You can also easily visit Mazara del Vallo (30 min), Erice (50 min) and the temple of Segesta (40 min). Palermo is also less than an hour's drive away, so you can easily visit in a day.
