Olive Grove

The Olive Grove is a luxurious 5* gold-awarded contemporary holiday cottage set in its own private grounds in the beautiful Kent countryside. Perfect for family holidays or a weekend away with friends, its stylish open-plan living area and garden provide the best spaces to catch up and spend time together. There’s a pool, spa and hot tub, as well as a children’s play area. The Olive Grove is fully accessible to wheelchair users and mobility impaired visitors. We hope to see you soon! The space LIVING AREA As you enter the property, you’ll walk straight into the spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. This is a perfect space for entertaining. It’s light and airy, and lavishly decorated to create a comfortable and stylish atmosphere, with ample space for everyone to relax and spend some quality time together. The sleek, modern kitchen is on the right and runs the full length of this large, bright room. It’s fully-equipped with everything you need to keep your party well fed and watered throughout your stay. Being open-plan keeps the guests together, so you won’t miss any of the fun when it’s your turn to cook. The living area is immediately to your left as you come in through the front door. There’s a large, comfortable, L-shaped leather sofa and armchair to sink into. There is ample space for everyone to lounge and catch up together – or relax and watch something on the Smart TV. Behind the sofa, you’ll find the dining area. There is a beautiful, round glass table that comfortably sits 8 people, so all guests can sit and enjoy meals, chat and play games together. A set of double doors next to the dining area leads out to the garden and decking area (there is another set of double doors in the living area). These doors do a great job of extending this already large and bright entertaining space. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms at The Olive Grove. Each bedroom is stylishly decorated with high spec furniture and quality Egyptian cotton bedding. The rooms are spacious, with storage space and plenty of room to manoeuvre, and they all have glass double doors leading directly outside to the secluded garden. Bedroom 1 has a super king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, with walk-in shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 2 has a super king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, with walk-in shower, WC and sink. And bedroom 3 has a king-size bed and twin beds, with another en-suite shower room. All the en-suite bathrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with high spec fixtures and fittings. Towels and toiletries are provided for all guests. POOL, SPA & HOT TUB Guests can relax in their own private 6-metre pool spa (with swim jets and hot tub) at The Olive Grove. Situated on the decked area of the garden, under a sheltered pergola, it’s a great spot to unwind, whatever the weather. Water babies (and grown-ups) will enjoy making a splash in the pool, or relaxing in the bubbly hot tub at the end of a busy day enjoying all the local area has to offer. Sit back and look up at the at dark skies above and enjoy a spot of star-gazing. GROUNDS & GARDENS The Olive Grove has a large, enclosed garden, which is beautifully kept and the perfect spot for socialising with family and friends. Lie back on the luxury rattan sun loungers on the decked area. You could read a book or have a snooze while the kids play in the secure garden. There’s also a seesaw and slide for younger guests to enjoy. On the deck, you’ll also find a barbecue and an outdoor dining table and chairs, with room for everyone. It’s the ideal place to enjoy your morning cuppa or a glass of wine later on, while soaking in the glorious views. PARKING & EV CHARGING Private off-road parking is available in the front drive for up to three cars and there is an electric vehicle charging point.
