Cozy waterfront vacation home in Friesland

It is a lovely and well-equipped house. Cozy places have been created everywhere where you can sit together: at the dining table, in the sitting area or on the 2 terraces in the large front and back garden. You are in an A-location with lots of privacy and a private jetty with swimming ladder. Here you can dock your own or rented boat and make beautiful trips throughout Friesland. Exploring Friesland with many picturesque villages and beautiful nature can also be fantastic by car, bike or on foot. The space The Marretoer vacation home is located in a prime location in the lake area of Friesland. The house has a jetty with swimming stairs and a large front and back garden with lots of privacy. You can sail to the beautiful Frisian lakes in 15 minutes without a bridge. The 9-person accommodation consists of a 7-person vacation home and an attached 2-person vacation studio. NEW: CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC CARS On the water side of the vacation home, there are 2 spacious terraces, 1 of which has an outdoor fireplace/BBQ. The large lawn is partially equipped with a fence so that little ones and/or dogs stay in the garden. Also on the street side is a cozy terrace shielded with vegetation. This way you can enjoy the sun or the shade all day long. The facade on the water side consists almost entirely of glass. From the living room, you have a beautiful view of the water and the spacious garden. The ground floor has a living room, an open kitchen and an entrance with toilet. All opening windows have screens. The awnings on the ground floor keep the house cool on hot summer days. The kitchen is fully equipped, including kitchen linen. On the upper floor of the vacation home, there is sleeping accommodation for 7 people. The master bedroom has a 2-person king-size bed and balcony on the water side. In the 2 other bedrooms, one has a 2p. queen-size bed, and the other a 2p. and 1p. bed. The bathroom has a double sink, a bath/shower and a second toilet. Towels are waiting for you in the bathroom furniture. All bedrooms are insulated, have a fan, and all opening windows have screens. In the summer period, it is only possible for guests of the vacation home to rent the adjacent vacation studio. This allows a group of 9 people to stay in both accommodations. Two people can quietly retreat in the studio. The studio is located on the ground floor and is walker-friendly. The vacation studio was completely renovated in 2024 and features a lounge area with TV, kitchen, air conditioning, a sleeping area with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The studio has its own front door and a private terrace and can be rented for a minimum of 3 days. If you want to come with more than 7 people or ask your parents, family or friends to celebrate a few days or a week's vacation, rent the studio as well. The following rates apply to renting the vacation studio: Rental price holiday studio €110 per night (min. 3 nights) Security deposit increase by €100 Final cleaning increase by €40 The vacation home and studio are equipped with: Free Wi-Fi, 2 TVs, Netflix, a lockable shed to possibly place bicycles in and 3 spacious free parking spaces and a charging station for an electric car (charging not included). The house has a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The studio has air conditioning. Guest access Guests can access all areas under conditions as described above. Next to the house is an office that is closed and not used. Furthermore, the attic and 2 of the 4 closets in the master bedroom are closed for private storage. Other things to note If you want to come with more than 7 people or you want to ask your parents, family or friends to join you for a few days or a week of vacation, rent the studio as well.
