Perched at the top of uphill on the high side of Fort Sheppard Dr., the views are unobstructed and spectacular. Whether you're sitting out on the private covered porch, or in the living room with wall-to-wall windows, you'll love looking due west over Rosemont in Nelson, and down past Grohman Narrows. For those looking to enjoy the outdoors, this property backs directly on to the Rail Trail, about 30m behind the house. In the spring, summer and fall a peaceful stroll or jog on the trail is right outside your door. In the winter, simply throw on your cross-country skis and enjoy ski-in / ski-out access. Inside the suite the fir floors, custom furniture and endless natural light create a wonderful balance between rustic and sophisticated. In the winter, the gas fireplace in the living room adds the warm and cozy comfort you're looking for after a day on the ski hill or other snowy adventures. The suite was renovated in 2015, with brand new luxury mattresses, new bedroom carpets, countertops, and all new cookware, dishes and kitchen accessories. The suite has full separation from the rest of the house, and is very private. Our family of four lives in the two floors above the suite but the house has good sound protection. All of our guests have loved it, and we're certain you will too! Guest access When you stay our guest suite you have full and exclusive access to the ground level of the house, with your own separate entrance. The covered porch on the ground level in front of the suite is reserved for your enjoyment, where you have your own patio furniture and BBQ. If you want to access the trail, simply walk around the side of the house and up through the back yard about 100 steps, and you're there! The suite has it's own dedicated off-street parking spot. From the parking spot there's a set of stairs that bring you up to the front door. Other things to note The suite is strictly non-smoking, with no exceptions.
