The space Much more than a simple holiday experience, Villa Aethereum is what we love to call a “brand new villa concept”, beautifully located on the scenic north-west coast of Corfu, elevating the Greek hospitality and class at its finest to offer the getaway of a lifetime for up to 12/14 guests. Villa Aethereum is the place where sun, sea, elegance and dreams merge together in an unforgettable, sweet symphony that you will want to take with you forever. Newly built, Villa Aethereum has been carefully designed with one goal: to become a one-of-a-kind property, a trend setter for a new level of comfort, style, attention to the environment. Offering a total of 6 bedrooms, 6 en-suite bathrooms, 1 WC, extraordinarily well equipped kitchens, airy lounges, air conditioning throughout, the villa can easily sleep up to 12/14 guests. Brilliantly divided into 2 self-contained units to offer wide common areas yet privacy when required and at night, the property is exclusively rented as a whole independent villa with private pool. The north-wing of the house features a truly impressive lounge with smart tv, sofas, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances. A WC for guests is also available by the lounge. On the ground floor there is also a double bedroom with its own bathroom, accessible to guests with reduced mobility. Patio doors lead directly to the pool area. Stairs lead up to the first floor with 3 further en-suite bedrooms as well as laundry room. All the bedrooms open straight to extensive terraces providing breathtaking views over the sea. The smaller, yet equally stylish, south-wing of the house features a comfortable lounge with adjoining kitchen on the ground floor and 2 further bedrooms (once again en-suite) on the upper floor. Due to the impressive spaces both inside and outside, all the guests can stay together, or dine together, at their convenience. 2 extra guests can be easily accommodate on the sofa beds in the lounges to increase the occupancy up to 14. All the beds can be made, according to the preferences of the guests into twins or king-size doubles (200cm wide). Each detail has been meticulously selected: from the branded linen to the softest towels, from the cushions to the mattresses: nothing has been left to the case in Villa Aethereum. The outdoor areas of Villa Aethereum, where nature, stone, wood and glass combine impressively together, are fully fenced and feature a large private pool measuring 30m x 5m running all along the villa. This is one of the largest pool currently available on the island, elevating further the unique charm of Villa Aethereum. Separate section (shallow) for children is also available. Depth is between 0.5m and 1.6m. Comfortable sunbeds are provided, to enjoy endless hours under the greek blue sky, admiring the sun going down over the nearby Afionas. For delicious grilled meal, barbecue and dining spaces for all the guests is available also outside, by the pool: the atmosphere and the views will be to die for! Private gated parking is also available. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes everything, and no extras are required locally. Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, regular maid service, change of linen/hand/bath towels twice a week are included in the rental rates. Pool Towels are provided, together with luxury amenities. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
