Stay in a beautifully restored 1952 Western Flyer Military Bus transformed into a cozy glamping retreat. This unique stay blends vintage character with modern comfort, featuring heat, A/C, running water, a shower with propane on-demand hot water (short showers recommended), and a compact mini kitchen for simple meals. Thoughtfully designed inside, the Blue Moon Bus offers a warm, memorable space to relax and experience a one-of-a-kind stay. The space The Blue Moon Bus is set on 5 mostly wooded acres in Green’s Harbour, NL, offering a quiet natural setting while still being 20 minutes from Whitbourne and 10 minutes from Dildo. This is not a city park—the property is largely natural forest terrain. Paths are not groomed, so guests planning to explore should bring appropriate footwear. The bus includes air conditioning and an electric heater for comfort. Guests can enjoy a BBQ and fire pit when permitted, we have to abide by the Dept of Forestry Forest Fire regulations, it is your responsibility to stay up to date and make other arrangements if you were planning on a BBQ. We ask guests to respect the peaceful setting: quiet hours begin at 10 PM, and only registered guests are allowed on the property. A $100 fee applies for each unregistered guest, so please ask in advance if you plan to have visitors. The bus has an RV toilet and holding tank and there are costs associated with that. Pets are welcome with a $50 pet fee to cover additional cleaning. Inside, there is also a flip sofa that can sleep two small children or one teen/adult, but it would not be comfortable for two adults. There may occasionally be a student working on the property, typically not before 9:30 AM. This space is ideal for guests looking for a unique glamping experience and a quiet place to unplug and enjoy nature. Guest access You can drive right up to the bus. There is a trail cam in the parking area close to the metal shed. Other things to note We follow all current provincial fire ban regulations, this may include the fire pit, or bbq being removed depending on the fire index rating. Kitchen is equipped with air fryer, hot plate, Keurig, kettle, toaster, and bar fridge as well as basic cookware and dishes. There is a shower, the water heater is a propane on demand, there temperature won't be steady and it is not meant for long showers. We are pet friendly but charge a $50 fee due to the extra time it takes to clean. No hosting parties or get togethers. No unregistered guests, $100 for each unregistered guest.
