The space The window on the ladir - mini apartment in Campidanese house The property is immersed in the quiet of the historic center of Monserrato, a few minutes by car from the University citadel and the Policlinico, the airport, Cagliari and its beach, Poetto, easily accessible also by bus whose stops are located a few steps from the house. The surrounding area offers all the necessary services: bars, pharmacies, market, grocery stores, etc. The history The structure is located in a centuries-old Campidanese courtyard house and is made of "ladir" (Sardinian name of the characteristic bricks of raw earth). We bought it in 2018, when it was a ruin. Despite the bad conditions in which we saw it the first time (collapsed roofs, vegetation everywhere,etc.) she was able to win us at first glance. We rolled up our sleeves and were able to retrieve most of the original cement floors, tiles, and ladder walls. For now, we have been able to renovate the main building from which, given the generous size, 3 independent apartments have been obtained that overlook the loggia, while waiting to return to shine the wine warehouse with its large barrels. The mini apartment offers a living area on the ground floor with a kitchen equipped with all appliances (smart TV 24 ", oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine in my way, kettle, toaster) and bathroom. In the sleeping area, located on the mezzanine, there is a French double bed, the closet and a 42'' smart TV. The apartment also has a washer-dryer, iron and iron and is air-conditioned with very quiet summer and winter fan coils. The fixtures are equipped with mosquito nets. Wifi is included as well as linens and towels. It offers the opportunity to enjoy moments of tranquility even outside: in the dedicated corner of the equipped loggia, embellished with the original floor of the house, there is a bench with a back and coffee table. You can park bicycles or motorcycles in the internal courtyard while for cars you can find free parking outside on the same street or neighboring streets.
