In the area, there are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance and a kilometer's walk down to the nearest bathing spot. There are many bathing spots on Ekerö. There is much to discover here; take a trip to the first Stockholm; Birka, and see the excavations there, an exciting piece of history. If you want to get into Stockholm, the bus goes nearby, but if you want to see a little more, you can take a shuttle boat from Ekerö center into central Stockholm, a nice boat trip!
