The space Ruthie Cottage is a very pretty detached flint cottage, full of character, in the rural seaside village of Bacton, within walking distance of the village shop and beautiful beach. On entering Ruthie Cottage you are welcomed into the traditional shaker style kitchen with marble worktops, a stone tiled floor, island unit and kitchen table. The kitchen is well equipped with under counter units, an oven range and five gas burner, butler sink, full height integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher and an island unit, providing plenty of space for food preparation and chatting. Beyond the kitchen is a dining room with a dining table, comfortably seating 8 guests, for family lunches and suppers. Adjoining the kitchen is the utility room, benefiting from further kitchen units, a wooden worktop, butler sink, washing machine and additional fan assisted oven. The utility leads straight out to the garden, where the owners have put a hot and cold dog hose for muddy paws (or sandy feet!). The sitting room has two leather sofas, an armchair, side tables and lamps and a smart television in front of a wood burning stove; the perfect spot to curl up with a book and take time to relax or watch a film on the television. Beyond the sitting room is a downstairs bedroom, with a double Futon, which can be made up as a bed, with its own ensuite shower room and French doors leading out to the garden. There is also a smart television if guests choose to use this as a snug for relaxing and watching films. The staircase, leads upstairs to three bedrooms, a family bathroom and ensuite. The principal bedroom has windows overlooking fields at the front and garden and has a king size bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. The principle ensuite has a walk in shower, hand wash basin and loo. Bedroom Two is also a generous size with a king size bed, bedside tables, a built in wardrobe and views overlooking fields to the front of the property. Bedroom Three works perfectly for two to three children with a triple bunk bed, bedside table and lamp. The family bathroom is newly fitted with a bath and a shower over, a loo and hand wash basin. Guest access Guests have full access to the whole cottage and garden.
