Offering spectacular views of surrounding mountains over the lake and a large two-level private dock that's perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and boating for hours on end, Harborside Haven is sure to provide the quintessential Lake James experience and "postcard perfect" vacation you've been dreaming of! This rental is pet friendly with an additional $100 pet fee per dog (maximum of 2 dogs allowed). Please include the number of dogs when making your reservation. The space After a day on the water letting your worries float away, enjoy a glass of wine on the deck around the fire pit or pick up a paddle and play a few rounds of ping pong before nestling into the ultra-cozy leather couch by the fireplace in the living room to stream a new movie or binge your latest TV show obsession. This home promises a sanctuary from life's tensions and will anchor you in tranquility! About the Home: • Fully equipped kitchen with island seating for 3, dining for 8, dishwasher, and standard drip-style coffee maker. • Impressive living room with SmartTV for streaming, gas log fireplace, and access to the deck with seating overlooking the stunning lake and mountain view. • Upper-level loft, overlooking the living room, with sitting area, game table, and balcony with Adirondack chairs for 2. • Lower level game room with second living area, RokuTV for streaming, and ping-pong; access the lower level deck with hammock, fire pit, and ring-toss-hook games. • The walk to the dock requires navigating long, and occasionally uneven, steps. The experience of the lake is well worth it! Lounge and relax on the upper dock or walk down to the lower dock to swim. The homeowner stores their boat and various water toys at the dock; these are unavailable for guest use for liability reasons. Boats cannot be launched from the property, so guests should plan to use one of the nearby public boat ramps on Lake James Where to Unwind: • The main floor offers two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and a full bathroom (shower and bathtub combination) with hallway access only. • The primary bedroom is located upstairs with a king-size bed and en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub combination. • Also on the upper level is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. • The lower-level bunk room offers 5 twin-size beds and 1 full-size bed, along with a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The garage is not available for guest use. While standard towels and linens are provided, this home is not supplied with lakeside/swim towels. Guest access All of our homes are private residences so you have access to the entire house unless otherwise noted in the description (the owner may not allow use of the garage, etc). Free parking at all homes. After you make your reservation, you will receive an email with instructions for access, including a keyless access code if your home has keyless entry. You will hear from one of our local rental staff members and we will be available to assist you in whatever way we can! Other things to note For dog-friendly houses, approval of the pet by Greybeard Rentals must be obtained. Those cottages allowing dogs are limited to one or two housebroken domestic animals, depending on the home. A $100.00 per dog, non-refundable fee is charged on all reservations including a pet. Sorry, but cats are not allowed due to common allergies.
