Soothing cool colors and decor make this place relaxing, so you can unwind. It has a well-equipped kitchen. Gorgeous gray granite counters and a captivating chandelier above the kitchen island with more seating steal the show. This open-concept kitchen and living room serve perfectly for those evening meals you'll cook together as you watch a movie or play board games. There is a stacked washer and dryer off to the side, so you won't worry about wet towels and sandy swimsuits. Two bedrooms are located on each side of the house, combined with Jack-and-Jill bathrooms. No bedroom is decorated the same, and you'll admire the thought put into each one. All bedrooms besides the master have additional seating so you can bury your nose in a book before bed, but don't worry - wireless internet access is included. There is a large television mounted in the living room. Other televisions are wall-mounted in both bunk bed bedrooms. The bunk room with a standard twin-over-twin bunk bed also contains a twin trundle for extra sleeping space. The fenced-in outdoor oasis is highlighted with an inground saltwater pool and a jetted seating area. Heating is even available upon request for those chillier evenings. Plenty of space for sunning in the loungers by the pool. Enjoy dining and socializing under the sunshade by day and carnival lights by night. There's also a spacious grassy play area for games! On the front of the house, there's a screened-in porch with comfortable seating and a cafe table to enjoy your morning coffee, listen to the ocean and smell the salt air. This vacation rental welcomes one well-behaved and house-trained dog, weighing 40 pounds or less, per reservation year-round. For the courtesy of all our guests, our House Rules are that dog is not allowed on the furniture or beds, must be flea and tick free, is healthy and up to date on shots. Dog is not allowed in swimming pool and must be nonaggressive and friendly (as service personnel may be onsite for lawncare/pool cleaning/exterminator/etc). We know your dog is part of your family and want them to feel welcome too, but also want all guests to enjoy the clean and comfortable feeling of our house! Guests should note that an additional pool heating fee is required for each day a guest requests pool heating. Guest must request the pool heating and pay the fee by calling the OIA office during normal business hours at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Pool heating is only available when temperatures are 55 degrees Fahrenheit and warmer. Other things to note The reservation holder must be at least 25 years of age and be present at the booked property during the dates of stay. This pool provides the option for heating at certain times of the year for an additional fee of $100/day plus tax. This fee would be paid after booking. If you would like to add heating, please message to alert us and we will reach out to arrange everything with you. We do require at least 48 hours notice to add heating for your stay. Please note that electric pool heaters do not maintain warm water temperatures if the ambient temperature drops below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. If you pay for heating that cannot be accommodated due to the weather, we will refund the fee for any affected days. About Oak Island's East Beach Stretching from NE and SE 79th Streets to S Middleton Ave, the East Beach section of Oak Island is the island’s widest area with more parks and public facilities than any other island location. When you’re not playing on its pristine beaches, head to Middleton Park where you can join a game of basketball, kickball or tennis. During summer evenings, gather with the community on the soccer field to watch an open-air movie or concert. The soccer field also transforms into a Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market on select Mondays during the summer. Catch some air at the Kevin Bell Skate Park, start a leisurely float from the Tidalwaves Kayak and Canoe Launch, stroll along a nature trail, cast a line from the Ocean Crest Pier or grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant. Fun is around every corner.
