Sleeps up to five - need less? Check out our other listing for just one bedroom. Dappled light and the scents of honeysuckle greet you as you enter our gated property through the private entrance. Watch the stars from the garden, settle in with a movie, or head downtown to enjoy one of Riverside’s great restaurants. In season, start the morning with u-pick, fresh orange juice before your day begins - so many places to visit from this centralized location! LGBTQ & BLM ally The space This is a detached garage with an additional bedroom upstairs. The lower area has been made into to a living and sleeping space with a large, separate bathroom and shower. There is no formal kitchen, though we do provide some amenities to help you enjoy evening take out or breakfast basics. This includes disposable plates, napkins, and flatware, microwave, mini-fridge, tea kettle, coffee maker and an assortment of teas and coffee. Milk or cream to be stocked upon request. Mugs, glasses, and a juice squeezer also provided. Upstairs, a small bedroom has been added with a bunk (double bed on the bottom) and sink. Note that the stairs to the upper unit are on the outside of the building. A note on weather and temperatures - while most of the year is perfect, Riverside is in a desert and does experience some extremes. During those times, guests need to keep in mind that this is not a fully insulated or centrally temperature controlled space. July - September daytime temperatures can get really hot and, in the winter, night time can cool significantly. The lower space stays at fairly even temperatures during the day and the AC unit or heater can add comfort as needed. The upstairs space does NOT have an AC unit but with the ceiling fan and two walls of windows for cross-breeze it's down right lovely when it starts to cool at night. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the entire Studio building, main floor and upstairs bedroom, as well as two outdoor patios. Please see the detailed map in photos. Other things to note The TV is set up for guests to login into their own Amazon account and associated streaming platforms. Easy instructions to log in and out are provided.
