For 1-2 people, also ideal for business travelers The space First floor (living room with open kitchen) --------------------------------------------------------- On the first floor is a comfortable living area with a modern kitchenette. The open kitchen offers you an oven with microwave function, induction stove and a dishwasher. An extractor hood and standard kitchen equipment are a given. The large glass front guarantees you an undisturbed view into the large garden and gives access to your private terrace. An additional insect screen door to the terrace protects against unwanted visitors in the summer months. From the comfortable couch you can look at a 42-inch smart TV. We will provide you with over 100 programs via the service provider Waipu. Of course, you can also use your own accounts with Netflix & Co. on the TV. Your own devices can connect via our strong WiFi network or a LAN connection. Enjoy our high-speed Internet via fiber optic connection. A cozy dining table with seating for two invites you to an extended breakfast, a romantic dinner or a nice game night. There is also a small reading corner on the first floor, as well as the bathroom with shower and toilet. Upper floor (bedroom with work desk) --------------------------------------------------------- The gallery staircase leads to the open bedroom. The 2 m x 2 m double bed with allergy-friendly gel mattresses guarantees a restful sleep. The large bedroom windows can be almost completely darkened. From the bed you can watch another smart TV. This allows you to view online channels or media services to which you have your own access. Under the skylight is a small desk with power supply. During the day you will enjoy the natural daylight. Your luggage can be accommodated in a small walk-in closet in the bedroom. Your clothes can also be placed or hung there. There you will also find an ironing board, an iron, an extension cable and a triple plug. Outdoor area (private terrace) --------------------------------------- On the spacious terrace with unobstructed garden views, there is a teak table, two teak chairs and a side table at your disposal. The seat cushions and a charcoal grill are located in the attached wooden house, which also serves to store bicycles. The neighborhood ------------------ Hornbostel is a small village in the Südheide. It belongs to the municipality of Wietze in the district of Celle. The terraced house is located on a 4000 sqm property with an unobstructed view over the meadow to the forest. The Aller, which stretches over 320 km to Verden in the Weser, is very close. You can walk to the Bannetze lock with attached weir in less than 20 minutes. There are many hiking trails in the area, especially popular are the ponds at the white stone and the Meissendorfer ponds. Hiking maps are available to you free of charge. The guest house is located on Winsener Straße 61. The 330 km long Aller cycle path runs along there. To the east, it goes towards Winsen/Aller, Oldau, Hambühren and Celle. If you drive west, you will come through small towns to Schwarmstedt. The end is in this direction in Verden. Wonderful day trips can be made along the Aller cycle path. Of course, we have free cycling maps ready for you. Adventurous guests also enjoy using the amusement parks in the surrounding area. Worth mentioning here are Heide Park Soltau, Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen or Weltvogel Park in Walsrode, which are quickly and easily accessible by car. Or you can just enjoy nature from your terrace. Listen to the song of the tawny owl, the wood owl and the countless songbirds. Shopping ---------------------------- Wietze is about 4 km from Hornbostel. There are the following shopping opportunities: Pharmacy, gas station, Aldi, Rewe, Netto, Edeka, Rossmann, bakery. In Winsen Aller, 7 km away, there are more pharmacies, as well as, in addition to the aforementioned shopping facilities, another Lidl and a Super Edeka. There are doctors in both communities. Services ---------------------- For our active guests, we can arrange bicycles and/or canoes. Please ask for availability when booking your apartment. Forgotten everyday items can be purchased inexpensively in our mini self-service shop. We are also happy to help you with table reservations in the neighboring Wildland Restaurant or fill your fridge with ready meals from Allerliebe. Check-in & check-out --------------------------- Basically, everything is organized for self-check-in/out. Before arrival, you will receive directions and all information about self-check-in, such as the code for the door lock. We, your hosts Sigrid & Peter Weichhart, live in the annex and like to welcome our guests in person when we are present. If you prefer an anonymous check-in, we are happy to accept that. You can select this option during the booking process. Other things to note News -------------- Our driveway is currently being redesigned. Sealed surfaces are being converted into green areas. In order to keep the driveway usable during this transformation, the transformation will take place in several phases and will therefore extend over a longer period of time. Your private parking space is still guaranteed during the redesign. There will be no noise pollution, nor will your garden view be restricted.
