El Ginkgo - Spacious family apartment

Like "El Gallinero", this apartment has had an eventful history of use and is now a spacious and comfortably furnished apartment. With a double and a single bed as well as a sofa bed, it is ideal for a couple or a family. The 50 square metre apartment has two rooms, its own kitchen with all appliances, a modern bathroom and its own garden terrace with a fantastic view of our green Vallalta valley. It has its own entrance, air conditioning, heating and WIFI, towels are included. The space Welcome to Masia Can Casas, a typical Catalan style country house from the 17th century, located in the middle of nature in the centre of the Maresme region near the village of Sant Iscle de Vallalta. Can Casas consists of the traditional, central farmhouse and its outbuildings, which were completely renovated in 2022/23 and now offer a modern standard with the charm of a country house. One focus of the remodelling was to make Can Casas comfortable and sustainable at the same time. We are proud that our guests leave only a small ecological footprint. We use well water for the pool and toilets, photovoltaics for electricity and biomass for heating. Surrounded by greenery, we are only 10 minutes away from the beaches of Sant Pol de Mar. Our modern flats offer you the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The approximately 50 square metre apartments also offer enough space for families. Equipped with a modern kitchen and a private bathroom as well as a private terrace with a view of the wooded Vallata valley, you can retreat to a flat after a day by the sea and enjoy the nature around you. All flats are equipped with central heating and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable stay 365 days a year. A Wireless Local-Area Network (WLAN) with 600 Mbit connection also allows digital nomads to work easily in every corner of Can Casas. For longer stays, several washing machines and tumble dryers are also available free of charge. Outside, Can Casas has several terraces, a heated (April - November) 12x4m pool, a spacious garden with areas for succulents, citrus fruits and vegetable garden, a summer kitchen with barbecue and a chicken coop. Guest access The apartment with a small terrace also includes the garden, the summer kitchen and the pool area with pool terrace as a shared area for all guests. Other things to note Catalunya is charging a "Tourist Tax" for all touristic acommodations. For our place it is 1,10€ per person and night - with a maximum of 7,70€ per person and stay. Because Airbnb does not charge this tax, we will settle this amount at the end of your stay directly with you. The apartment is located approximately 30 meters from the masia and can be accessed via a wide garden staircase with 12 steps.
