Location: Our property is in a quiet street on the edge of the Pfaffing district, at the end of the street (80m) there is a playground. To the village center it is about 600 meters to the lido at the Obinger See about 1 km. Obing am See with its approx. 5000 inhabitants is located in the middle between Munich and Salzburg approx. 12 km north of the Chiemsee. Here you will find almost everything your heart desires. From a cozy beer garden, Bavarian inns, a cabaret, 2 Italian restaurants, Asian and Oriental restaurants, pubs and cafes and much more in the immediate vicinity. There is nostalgia minigolf with the Kleines Wirtshaus am See. This is right next to the art and culture trail that leads around our lake. In addition to golf, yoga, martial arts and fitness facilities, you will also find a nostalgia train from Obing to Bad Endorf, which is not only a hit with adults. For groceries you will find Edeka, Nahkauf and Norma as well as a health food store, a farmers' market on Fridays and several other stores of various kinds. Surroundings and sights: It never gets boring here. Our Chiemgau is famous for its many lakes that invite you to go hiking and cycling. A wide range of culinary options, including our 5 breweries in the surrounding area, leave almost nothing to be desired. Not only in rainy times, several museums (Bauerhausmuseum, Automobilmuseum), leisure parks (Wildpark Oberreit, Freizeitpark Ruhpolding and Märchenpark), beautiful swimming pools (Wasserburg, Prien am Chiemsee) and thermal baths (Bad Endorf and Bad Aibling, Solebad Berchtesgaden) offer a lot of variety and entertainment. But the most important thing for our guests from afar are of course the Chiemgau Alps, which invite you to go on extensive hikes, mountain tours with cozy huts to stop and enjoy. Of course, our Bavarian Sea, Lake Chiemsee, with its steamboat trips to Herren Chiemsee Castle and Fraueninsel, is also a very popular excursion destination that is worth a vacation with us just to enjoy. This is rounded off by rubber dinghy and raft trips on the Alz. You will also find plenty of opportunities for shopping here in the village and in the nearby towns. You can take a stroll through one or other of the beautiful old towns. For day trips you can visit some castles and monasteries, the cities of Salzburg, Rosenheim, Munich or Berchtesgaden with Königsee and salt mine.
