On the first floor you will find a spacious room that connects the living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. In the separate part of the well-kept garden you will find another nice corner for al fresco dining, next to the barbecue, where you can also enjoy in a glass of Istrian Malvazija. On the first floor of the villa there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom. The upper floor offers accommodation in 2 bedrooms, also equipped with private bathrooms, TVs and air conditioners. On this floor you will also find a terrace which is the ideal place for that first cup of tea or coffee. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the view of the sea in the background. There are also plenty of sun loungers around the pool for relaxing or sunbathing. Discover the beautiful surroundings of the villa with the bicycles, either you visit wine trails or take a trip along the Parenzana. Villa Marika awaits you! Villa Marika is located in the charming village of Vizinada. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Mirna valley, the hills of the Istrian hinterland and other small (stone) towns in the distance, such as Motovun. According to legend, Vizinada is an even 1000-year-old village where the Romans built the famous Via Flavia and today's Parenzana cycle path. Near the villa there are also tourist towns such as Porec or Novigrad (both about 16 km from the villa). Porec is known today for the impressive Euphrasian Basilica (part of the UNESCO heritage since 1997), from the Byzantine period. If you are traveling with children, you can take a trip to Aquapark Istralandia, which is about a 20-minute drive from the villa. You can also visit the charming nearby town of Novigrad. This pleasant small town was also known as a fishing village and still retains the typical atmosphere of a Mediterranean town. Here you can visit fortresses and old churches as well as numerous museums, bars and restaurants. Look for wine routes and olive oil trails in the surrounding area and taste the valuable domestic products of Istria.
