Our apartment Arkona is located in the holiday residence "Am Kap Arkona", in house 2 on the upper floor. The holiday residence was built in 2006, a fundamental renovation took place in 2021. The apartment is managed independently by us. It has a high level of individual equipment, designed with a lot of passion and commitment. On the balcony of our apartment you can enjoy the sun, the evenings in a quiet and cozy ambience The space or just let your gaze wander over the garden of the residential complex. The complex has a 3000 m² natural plot. A private and free parking space, marked with a parking sign, belongs to the Arkona apartment. The apartment is equipped for 2 people. Of course, we have free Wi-Fi. Further individual information can be found on site in our guest folder. Bicycle charging stations are located in the grounds of the Rügenhof not far from our apartment. Charging stations for cars are provided in the parking lot at the beginning of the village. The bed linen and towels must be brought by the guests themselves. The tourist tax is paid on site. Location, place and surroundings The apartment Arkona is located in Putgarten, a small village directly on Cape Arkona. Putgarten is a state-recognized resort. Nothing disturbs the vacation here. Only holiday guests and residents who live in the village are allowed to use the car. As another means of transport, the colorful Arkona railway or horse-drawn carriages are available, which take visitors to Cape Arkona or to the small fishing village of Vitt. The scenic and natural surroundings and the very well-developed bike paths invite you to enjoy sporting but also relaxing activities. Putgarten is an original place where tourism is operated very sustainably. Smaller, single-storey houses built in a maritime style characterize the townscape. Just a 15-minute walk from Putgarten is the natural, very fine sandy 8 km long beach. According to the German Weather Service, Cape Arkona ranks number 1 with the most hours of sunshine in Germany. You can swim, surf, kite or just be lazy on the natural, wide, fine sandy north beach. High banks and cliffs and a breathtaking view of the Baltic Sea provide special experiences, of course also at sunset. The area monument, which also includes the lighthouse built in 1873 and the sounding tower, is about 1.5 km from the village. The Slavic wall system Jaromarsburg on the cape is very interesting. The high bank trail runs along the high bank around the cape with a fantastic view and ends at the historic chapel of the small fishing village of Vitt. Here it is possible to enjoy freshly smoked sea fish and let your gaze wander over the sea. The entire Wittow peninsula is an insider tip for active cycling vacationers.
