The Cabin is nestled in the woods, a few hundred feet from a beautiful private lake. If it's total solitude you are looking for, this is the place. Keyless entry makes it perfect if you want total privacy. If you want lake access, come down and have coffee with us for orientation. Our pantry items, coffee, granola, half & half, and spices are perfect for your full-service kitchen. The space This is the perfect place for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing or to just totally decompress in a rural and beautiful setting. The lake and pavilion are in our front yard and we don't mind sharing at all as long as the common sense rules are followed. Sitting in our pavilion and watching the humming birds is an additional perk. Other things to note We support local business. When you check in you will have locally roasted coffee, local eggs and locally made granola. The cabin is the gateway to the Southern Illinois Wine Trail, Southern Illinois Beer Trail, and 3 miles from Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. If you are a cycling enthusiast bring your bikes. You can ride a 20 mile ride from the cabin as well as other cycling trails in Southern Illinois.
