The apartment's furnishings leave nothing to be desired; everything is modern, new, and full of individual charm. Flessenow is a small town directly on the western shore of Lake Schwerin. The scenic, pristine surroundings invite you to long hikes and bike rides. The lake is ideal for swimming, sailing, and SUPing. Those who enjoy long, strenuous jogging can try walking around the entire lake. Why not use Flessenow and Lake Schwerin as a starting point to explore the surrounding sights? Schwerin, the state capital of Schwerin, is about 20 km from Flessenow. Here, you'll find a rich cultural and culinary offering, and a visit to Schwerin Castle is not to be missed. A cruise on Schwerin's lakes with the White Fleet will also be a unique experience. The historic city center, with its many shops, invites you to stroll. Wismar, known for the Soko Wismar (Wismar Special Unit), can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. This former Hanseatic city has a beautiful old town with many old merchant houses, three large churches, and one of the largest market squares in Northern Germany. The port of Wismar is a popular promenade with small shops and restaurants. The obligatory fish sandwich is a must-try. Those looking for a refreshing dip beyond Lake Schwerin should head to the island of Poel with its beaches on the Baltic Sea. They are approximately 40 minutes away by car.
