Close to the center and yet in a quiet location: We look forward to welcoming you to this combination of a beautiful 104 m² vacation apartment on the ground floor and a cozy 20 m² apartment on the top floor. Perfect for up to 8 people! Both apartments are located in the same house: in a charming, quietly located old villa with a large garden right next to the TU Dresden, just a few kilometers from the city center and the historic old town. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. The space The high-quality and sustainably furnished vacation apartment invites you to feel at home. It was completely renovated by March 2024. All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating. Together with beautiful natural stone floors, real wood floorboards and solid wood furniture, it ensures cozy comfort in every season. Solid oak floorboards have been laid in all living rooms and bedrooms, treated only with natural, solvent-free oils - pure nature. Each floorboard is unique, created in the Salzburg mountains. The bathroom walls and the floor in the bathroom, hallway and kitchen are fitted with newly laid travertine. This natural stone with Mediterranean flair creates a vacation feeling as soon as you step inside. Thanks to the underfloor heating, it feels wonderfully warm and invites you to walk barefoot. The wardrobes in the living rooms and bedrooms are made exclusively from solid wood. Some of them are rare, beautiful individual pieces, over 100 years old. The antique furniture comes from historic Dresden and gives this apartment a very special flair. The modern, comfortable sofas and beds provide a contrasting accent and invite you to relax in comfort. All bedrooms are quietly located and equipped with shutters and blackout curtains for an undisturbed night's sleep. There are three sleeping options, each with a double bed: - one 18 m² bedroom with a 1.80 x 2.00 m double bed and the option of adding a baby bed 0,6x1,2m - a bedroom 12 m² with a double bed 1.40 x 2.00 m, also suitable as a children's room - a sofa bed with a sleeping area of 1.50 x 2.00 m that can be pulled out in one movement, thanks to the slatted frame and comfortable cold foam mattress a fully-fledged bed set The bathroom is a small oasis of well-being in mediterranean style. The natural stone on the walls and floor radiates an elegant yet warm atmosphere, the underfloor heating ensures that you feel cozy all around, and the seamless rear wall of the floor-level shower is an absolute eye-catcher. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and Nespresso machine. The small kitchen table seats 1-2 people. Larger groups can eat in the dining room, which can be reached in a few steps via the hallway. Its solid wood table is extendable, seats up to 8 people comfortably and serves as the focal point for sociable evenings. There is also a comfortable sofa in the dining room, which can be transformed into a fully-fledged sleeping area for 2 people with just a flick of the wrist. In the living room, an L-shaped sofa and a large TV screen with Netflix invite you to relax. Book lovers will find a rarely large selection of fiction (modern and classics), non-fiction and travel literature in the bookcase. And those who like to pick up the strings might enjoy the guitar provided. There are two workstations for the home office: a secretary desk with a fold-out desk top in the dining room and a small antique secretary desk in the veranda. Both rooms can be separated from the living room by sliding doors so that you can retreat to work. Both the light-flooded veranda and the balcony face the sunny south side. Here you can sit and relax, enjoy the view of the beautiful garden or watch your children play. The apartment at a glance: It consists of two bedrooms (18 and 12 sqm), a living room (17 sqm), a dining room (17 sqm) with pull-out sofa bed and workplace, a veranda (5 sqm) with workplace, a bathroom (5 sqm), a kitchen (8 sqm), a storage room (2 sqm), the hallway (13 sqm) and a balcony (7 sqm). Facilities for babies/children: baby crib 0.60 x 1.20 m incl. mattress (please bring your own bedding), high chair, potty, children's toilet seat, step stool for the bathroom, cutlery, rocking horse, books and games for all ages Guest access You have access to the large, well-kept garden. In the summer months, there is a small 2-seater settee with table and a hammock where you can relax. Children can play in the garden. If you want to do your laundry, there is a washing machine in the cellar. Laundry can be dried in the garden, in the tumble dryer or on the balcony. Do you have your own bikes with you and need somewhere to store them? Then please contact us in advance. Other things to note Check-in takes place via a key box. You will receive more information and the code 1 day before arrival. This allows you to check in independently at any time from 3 pm on the day of arrival. This is a non-smoking apartment. Smoking is only permitted outside the apartments and the stairwell.
