Big skies and beautiful countryside await at this Blue Line Resort cabin, where you'll be immersed in the quiet charm of Southern Illinois. It's a place where you can expect to share the road with horse-drawn carriages as you set out and explore the many attractions nearby. Taste your way along the Shawnee Wine Trail (three miles), visit loved ones at Southern Illinois University (five miles), or hike Little Grand Canyon (seven miles) or one of the many other trails close by. The space Blue Line Resort is a lovely cabin community located about four miles south of downtown Murphysboro. The grounds are a delight to return to each afternoon, offering a small pond, a dock with built-in benches where you can drop a fishing line, a gazebo with a swing, and a firepit where you can gather for stories and stargazing each evening. Communal laundry facilities are available as well. This particular cabin is nestled at the edge of the pond, with generous outdoor spaces to enjoy in spring, summer, and fall. Bring your coffee outside to the covered front porch and gather around the picnic table in the afternoon for an alfresco lunch prepared on the grill. Inside, the studio-style layout is roomy and comfortable. There's a combined living and sleeping area with a Smart TV (please use your own accounts for streaming), a windowside dining table, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, a microwave, an air fryer, and double hot plates. Complimentary WiFi is also on hand to keep you connected.
