Today, the adjacent Fort Casey State Park is one of the most beautiful spots to explore on Whidbey Island, with its bunkers and batteries, a lovely lighthouse, driftwood-strewn beaches, and awe-inspiring sunset views of the Olympic Mountains across the water. You can walk to the Coupeville Ferry Dock (which connects to Port Townsend) and drive to the Ebey's Landing Bluff Trail (three miles) and picturesque downtown Coupeville (four miles) in a matter of minutes. As part of the inn, this two-story home enjoys access to grills and picnic tables on the grounds. If you're traveling with a group, the meeting space at Garrison Hall is even available for gatherings and retreats. Little charms can be found throughout the house - think painted wood floors, black-and-white tile, and a coffered ceiling in the living room.
