Dog-friendly home on 200 acres with mountain view, fishing ponds & river access
The space Sierra House | The Lost Sierra Ranch Greet each day with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, meadows, and evergreen woods at Sierra House, one of the five homes that make up the spectacular Lost Sierra Ranch. Angler or hiker, summer golfer or winter cross-country skier, an unforgettable experience awaits you. Lost Sierra Ranch is a 200-acre swath of private land, stunningly situated between the quaint and historic towns of Graeagle (11 miles) and Quincy (16 miles). Across the grounds, you'll find four fishing ponds and over a mile of the Middle Fork Feather River where you can hook the native rainbow and brown trout. Go crawfish-hunting with your kids, play horseshoes and cornhole, or spend your days swimming and floating in the river. Bring your own horses to lodge at the stables, your bows and arrows to practice with the on-site archery targets, and your cross-country skis and snowshoes for winter sports outside your door. In the immediate area, hike or hunt across Plumas National Forest's 1.1 million acres or practice your drive at one of the nearby golf courses. Whitehawk Ranch, Nakoma Resort, Graeagle Meadows, Plumas Pines, and Grizzly Ranch are all within 25 miles. Both inside and out at this single-story home, a beautiful view seems to wait at every turn. You can marvel at your surroundings whether you're gazing through the banks of windows or observing passing birds, deer, even the occasional bear or mountain lion from the covered deck. The interior is wonderfully open, offering a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area, and a living room where you can stream movies after dinner (using your own accounts). Adding to the home's many comforts are central heating, window air conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi.
