This apartment is in the historical centre of the city, which makes it ideal for exploring many of the sites on foot and enjoying its variety of attractions. In the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, Lugano combines the best of both cultures. This heritage is celebrated at MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (10-minute walk). The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (2-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés.
