Laconia lies between the Gulf of Arzachena and the craggy hills of north-eastern Sardinia. It is a stunning location. Laconia Beach is just a 4-minute walk. It is known for its fine white sand and clear water. The beach is ideal for snorkelling, kayaking and canoeing. There is a fine restaurant, serving local cuisine. If you can tear yourself away from the beach then the historic centre of Cannigione offers exclusive boutiques and many excellent restaurants and cafés. Cannigione also hosts a night market where you can find a wide variety of local crafts, fashions and fresh produce. Further up the coast is the port of Palau (17 minutes) From here you can take a ferry to the gorgeous Maddalena Archipelago, which offers breathtaking snorkelling and unspoiled beaches.
