Whether you're chasing powder at Mt Baker, hiking the trails to Nooksack Falls, or simply craving a quiet mountain retreat, you'll return each evening to genuine comfort. MAIN FLOOR: King bedroom with luxurious en suite bathroom. Second king bedroom with access to a full shared bath. Spa-style finishes throughout. UPPER FLOOR: Spacious living area with smart TV — perfect for movie nights and gathering after a day of adventure. Generous kitchen and dining area with island seating, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and everything you need to cook a proper mountain meal. OUTSIDE: Private hot tub surrounded by forest. Patio furniture and outdoor dining area. BBQ grill. Large, private backyard with fire pit for evening gatherings under the stars. YEAR-ROUND ADVENTURE: Winter brings world-class skiing and snowboarding at Mt Baker Ski Area (25 min). Spring and summer open up hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and wildflower trails through Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Fall delivers stunning foliage along the North Fork Nooksack River. The Glacier community offers local dining and outfitters year-round. Important Notes: Nature:  This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife. Technology: WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area.  **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control.  We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions. Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains. Groceries:  Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away).  There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations.  Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons.  Please come prepared with provisions. Gated Community / HOA:  Mt.Baker Rim Community Club Mt.Baker Rim is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area.  The community has numerous hiking trails both to Glacier and to the Nooksack River. The HOA requires gate cards for guest access, has rules for quiet hours, leash laws and a no campfire policy.   Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road. **Please note that your rental may have limited parking availability. Carpooling may be required. Parking is not permitted on roads within the Snowline, Mt Baker Rim, and Snowater Community. Any fines accrued by the HOA in regards to parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.** Luxury Getaways is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay. You can check in/check out with one simple touch, request services, find important home and amenities information, along with local recommendations and maps. Pet Policy- DOGS only  permitted (no cats or other pets) maximum 2. $35 per pet/per night Pet Rules: We love pets and are glad that you're bringing your furry companion. We just ask that you please follow all of our guidelines, since this is another person's home. 1. Pet fees must be paid in advance of Check in. 2. Maximum 2 Dogs allowed (no cats) 3. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (no exceptions) 4. Pets must be over the age of 1 year old. 5. Pets shall NOT be left unattended at any time for any purpose whatsoever. 6. Pets can not be left in the cabin while you are at the ski area. 7. Any damage caused by pets will incur charges for repair or replacement of structures or furnishings and must be paid via AirBNB resolution center immediately. 8. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise or continuous barking at a level that disturbs neighbors. 9. All guests agree to adhere to community club rules and regulations and county ordinances regarding leash laws, sanitation, and noise disturbances. 10. Any fines or violations from the community association will be charged to the guest. Guest access Full access to the entire home, private yard, hot tub, and all amenities. Self check-in via lockbox after hours or in person during office hours. Welcome book in the home provides check-in instructions, local recommendations, and service requests. The property is located in Mt Baker Rim — a private, gated community bordering Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Gate access cards are provided upon check in after guest verification has been complete. Community amenities include forest trails and a peaceful, quiet setting. Other things to note GETTING HERE: The nearest large grocery store is in Bellingham (~45 min). We recommend stocking up before arrival. AWD/4WD is recommended during winter months. CONNECTIVITY: Starlink satellite internet and WiFi are provided. Please note that this is a remote mountain setting — speeds and reliability can vary with weather conditions. Smart TV available for streaming. Cell service is limited in the Mt Baker area. NATURE: The property borders national forest. Wildlife (including bears and smaller animals) is part of the natural setting. Please do not leave food outdoors. COMMUNITY: Mt Baker Rim is an HOA community with quiet hours, leash requirements, and a no-campfire policy. Parking is limited to the driveway only, no street parking is permitted (fines apply).
