Restaurants can be found in Lohme, approx. 3 km away, and there are plenty of shops in Sagard (6 km) or Sassnitz (12 km). With a view of one of the peat lakes, the apartment is equipped with a large living/bedroom (double bed, couch, armchair, flat-screen TV, radio/CD player), a separate kitchen (electric hotplates, mini oven, fridge with freezer, various small kitchen appliances, dining area with a view), a bedroom (2 single beds), a bathroom (shower, WC, hairdryer), a small hallway and insect screens on the windows. Lohme itself, once a small fishing village directly on the Baltic Sea, is now a popular health resort with a harbour, marina, a small sandy beach, one of the largest erratic boulders on Rügen - the Swan Stone - and fine dining and arts and crafts establishments. Extensive shopping facilities can be found in Sassnitz (10 km) or Sagard (approx. 12 km) and the entire region is easy to explore by bike thanks to the well-developed paths and is ideal for a relaxing holiday by the water and in nature at the same time.
