The House of Broc'Art

Here is an original rental! The Maison Broc'Art is a tastefully renovated nineteenth-century house, which has the particularity of offering some of its decorative objects for sale, as well as works by regional artists... like in a flea market! Located in the heart of Auxerre, in a small quiet street, 5 minutes walk from the main shopping street leading to the historic district, it has a totally enclosed garden and away from the eyes and noises of the city. The space This house has the charm of the old and the comfort of today. Spacious, it offers each member of the family a space to rest, to telework or relax, to enjoy life. The house is organized on several levels. On the ground floor, you enter the house through a hall that opens on one side to a small fully equipped kitchen, on the other side to a dining room ideal for 6 people and finally to a comfortable living room. On the mezzanine floor, you will find a first double bedroom with a double bed, a shower room and toilet. Upstairs, two other double bedrooms await you: a master bedroom with its private shower room and a twin bedroom. A toilet completes the floor. The garden is located behind the house, away from the street and the noises of the city. It is totally closed and not overlooked: you can enjoy the sun quietly, as if you were in the countryside and can organize your aperitifs and barbecues in complete serenity! The house belongs to Catherine and Dany. Dany is in the world of flea markets: he has selected decorative objects that adorn the house and are available for sale. If you have a crush on a statuette, a painting or a lamp, you can buy it. But you can just as easily admire it. Catherine and Dany also work in partnership with some artists in the region. You will find an overview of their works scattered throughout the house, also offered for sale. Guest access You will have access to the whole house and the garden. Other things to note The house has a laundry room: a washing machine and drying racks are available. Pets are allowed at no extra charge: we simply ask their owners to clean up after them. The house is non-smoking, but the garden will welcome smokers and vapers with pleasure! Note: the barbecue is actually a plancha.
