Maison d'Ô Pointe Thalémont, full sea view & pool

A land's end feeling, a view that offers total escape at the price of a long path of earth and stones: the ingredients for a slowlife holiday are all here! Yet we are less than 15 minutes from the town of Le François and all its amenities, and right in the center of the Atlantic coast. The space Maison d'Ô Pointe Thalémont sits on a rocky headland evoking a ship bow. On its port side, a tiny private creek, all pebbles, nestled in its stone setting. Starting here, we like to swim across the bay. To starboard, a modest fishermen's beach. When they let us know they're back, we head down to pick up some fresh fish. Thanks to its elevated position, the house is generally well ventilated, and is not affected by the smell of sargassum. This rustic lodge offers the comfort of a large swimming pool, refreshing trade winds and a hammock between two coconut palms. It sits on a carpet of greenery that adds a touch of softness to these intimidating horizons. We must confess to a departure from the slowlife concept... We opted for Starlink, the best Internet operator available in Martinique: unlimited broadband - the ball's in your court! The second floor is dedicated to parents, with a large bedroom (queen-size bed + desk) and a small independent shower room. The first floor features a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, each with its own bathroom. There's also a large living room, an open kitchen and a vast carbet, an architectural feature inherited from native Indians. As you will be living inside screen sceneries, there is no television.
